The conditions within the Catholic Church as apostate!

I enjoyed learning of my father’s faith when he was alive! I feel it was well written and documented! I don’t think it described The Church of Jesus Christ as it existed during Christ’s administration! There was no politics, only Twelve Apostles, who were given power to administer His Church and receive guidance from Jesus Christ, No where can I find reference in scripture of Mary being elevated as she is in Catholicism! She was chosen by God to bring forth His only Begotten Son, the Savior of the world! The Rosary appears to be traditional as a result of your worship of Mary! The scriptures caution against “vain repetition”…..
You have described perfectly the apostasy from the Church of Jesus Christ, showing a need for a restoration of His Church upon the earth! Only Christ can fix what’s gone wrong in the church…councils and conclaves can not determine correct doctrine! Paul, speaking to the spoke of this! Galatians 1:1-24

Became too gory for me!

Disastrous events sometimes are best left untold by degree! To know of the event was one thing, but the continued details of death etc was hard to endure! Were there any positive outcomes or faith promoting incidents? It was a fateful event and sad indeed but the story lasted beyond my interest!

I really found this book very interesting! Many years ago I embarked on a search for understanding of the Church, Christ’s Church! My father was Catholic and assured me it was Christ’s Church, claiming Peter was the rock upon which the Church was founded! Reading that scripture, Matt. 16:13-19, I didn’t see Peter being the “Rock”, but Revelation being how Peter recognized the Christ! Reading further in Ephesians 4:11-16 “And He gave some apostles; prophets; evangelists; some pastors and teachers; 12for the perfecting of the Saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of God, unto a perfect man…..that we henceforth be no more children tossed to and fro and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive…” We are lacking that unity of faith today because of apostasy! Apostles and prophets needed until that is a reality?? Who changed the original Church organized by Christ? Where is that Church? Martin Luther realized the need to return to the original teachings of Christ…hence the Protestant movement! Confusion and need for understanding.
Your title the Church dismantled and reference to being God who has done this causes me concern! Is it not man who in search of truth, without the benefit of revelation from God, who has done this? Ephesians 2:19-22 clarifies the original organization! There is a need for a Restoration of all things as Paul declared in Revelation 14:6 …..churches many, teachings many, doctrines changed….Isaiah 24:5-6, 29:9:10;13-14 Amos8:11-12; Jeremiah 2:11-13; Isaiah 60:2 ….these scriptures tell me it is mankind who has left the Church of Christ! So now what??
Thank you for your insights into today’s churches and the challenges now facing them! It has awakened me to further study!
