The world is a mess. It seems that everywhere listeners turn, there's another problem. What is needed now are solutions. If only there was a man who could simplify things, cut through the rhetoric, and fix everything. Then, if he was just able to put all of that insight into something that people could buy...in a store and online...man, that would great. Wait a minute!

Must Listen To
Revisado: 01-02-08
I have read other reviews of this book. I don't know who posted before, but I am guessing that they are not Glenn Beck Radio listeners. Where the narrative of this book could have been better, I have found it to be very, "Beck-ish". If you do not listen to his radio program then this book can be very confusing or even borish. I am a regular listener and I found it to have moments of brilliance but some areas where I have had the book and needed to follow it.
DO NOT read this book if you are a liberal, you WILL NOT find it funny you may find it insulting. But if you can take the humor as well as some constructive criticism, then maybe.
Glenn Beck is nothing more than an entertainer with a conscience. Don't just sit here saying that this book is not worth listening/reading with out knowing what he is about. He mentions his family all the time on the radio and is maddened by all the confusing stuff that is out there. And for heavens sake open your mind to a different point of view and a little obscure humor.

Historia
After nine months of examining and analyzing U.S. military involvement in Iraq, the bi-partisan Iraq Study Group issued this report on Dec. 6, 2006. The report calls the situation in Iraq "grave and deteriorating" and says, "There is no path that can guarantee success, but the prospects can be improved".

Pittiful
Revisado: 12-24-06
I would have figured that we pay these people to come up with viable solutions to the issues in Iraq. Apparently I was wrong. I do not think that that we should be the ones getting severly drunk just to listen to this but I think it would help. It is almost laughable to think that these people are running our government.
It is however interesting to listen to just for the information that we as American Citizens do not know, such as that the only deaths we know about on a daily basis are the ones involving "Americans" and that there are substantially more involving Iraqis.
It is very important for every one to listen to this, suport it or not. It is very boring to listen to and very pittiful to believe that thee people are gaining power in our government, but you can not just leave this one unread or listened too.

Historia
For the handful of scattered Jedi, survival is imperative if the light side of the Force is to be protected and the galaxy somehow, someday reclaimed. Yet more important still is the well-being of the twin infants, Leia and Luke Skywalker, the children of Anakin and his doomed bride, Padme Amidala. Separated after Padme's death, they must be made safe at all costs, lest the hope they represent for the future be turned to horror by the new Sith regime, and the unspeakable power of the dark side.

Listened to Better
Revisado: 01-29-06
I am a major Starwars fan and have either read or listened to most of the out there. I really looked foward to seeing what the first "Darth Vader" book almost as much as the first "Darth Maul" book. I feel that reading as well as listening to these books, unabridged or otherwise are quite enveloping. The one issue that I had with this book and probably the only issue is the unnessary use of backround noise. I would rather listen to the narriator then the blaster rounds going off. I am not 13 years old and do not need the sound effects. Other wise it was a good book but I would rather read it, hence no backround needless diatribe.
