Historia
The world crashed to pieces on June 23rd and Adrian Ring wasn't anywhere near ready for it. He had no guns, no food, no friends around, a cat that wanted to slip out the back of the condo and a girlfriend trapped in the heart of the city. This is the story of how he survived. Real, flawed, and raw, Dark Recollections is Adrian's own story of how he survived after "That Day". Told through his eyes as he talks to his laptop, affectionately named "Mr. Journal".

Really pleasantly surprised!!!
Revisado: 05-05-24
Let me start off by saying I’ve read and watched hundreds + of apocalyptic/ Zombie themed stories.
I wasn’t sure as I started off with this series… but I’m so glad I tried it out! The characters are great, I love Adrian! I am now hooked after these 4 books and just purchased the next 2 in the series! The narration is great as well, and if your on the fence, just do it!!! ❤️❤️

Whether romantic or platonic, changing relationships prove tricky for Rose, Tom, Clara, and Craig—never mind adapting to the new not-so-normal. Being surrounded by the undead is bad enough, but with a tyrant-in-training running their Safe Zone, it’s that much worse.

I am obsessed with all of her series! This one was great too, although I was definitely sad when it ended…I really wanted more! I always love her style of writing, the characters and of course this genre in itself! She always does a great job at blending everything together into a great story!!! Never stop writing!! ❤️❤️❤️ Jen L.

Historia
It's been three long years since Deadbreak. That's what everyone's calling it - the day the dead rose. Every day since then, Jeremiah Reid has had one goal: to make his way back to his daughter. With his four-legged companion, Joe, Jeremiah has to travel a lawless wasteland teeming with zombies, bandits, and worse, like people who put anchovies on pizza (you know who you are). It's a new world out there, and no one is safe. People are weary, cities are in ruin, supplies are scarce, and brains are on the menu.

Historia
What started as a flu outbreak on a military base proves deadlier than Ebola. Sympatico Syndrome is unlike anything the world has ever seen. Victims' behavior is changing to accommodate the rapid spread of the virus. Former Navy epidemiologist Cole Evans is well aware of the rare, infectious diseases the military studies. He also knows the government's stance on sharing information with the public, so if the media has already learned about the disease, then it's too late to contain the outbreak.

This book was very interesting, it made you think about a lot regarding humans and what it is to be a woman & a different way of life. The author did a great job explaining all the different ideas and made you really see a clear picture of what they were going through. I really enjoyed this book! It was a great unexpected find!

Historia
Genghis Khan was born Temujin, the son of a khan, raised in a clan of hunters migrating across the rugged steppe. Shaped by abandonment and betrayal, Temujin endured, driven by a singular fury: to survive in the face of death, to kill before being killed, and to conquer enemies who could come without warning from beyond the horizon. Through a series of courageous raids, Temujin's legend grew until he was chasing a vision: to unite many tribes into one, to make the earth tremble under the hoofbeats of 1,000 warhorses, to subject all nations and empires to his will.

Hoping for a little bit better...
Revisado: 11-14-19
I have read so many historical books, my favorites being from Phillipa Gregory! I had not known too much about Catherine The Great. I did like that it told about the early life of her, and I had no problem with it being from the mouth of one of the Servants. The story itself was good. I think the narration could of been better...at times her tone and voice drove me alittle crazy.
