Too slow, then too fast!

I love Lauren's books! But I wasn't crazy about this one. I liked the H and the h, but it was so slow.....they didn't connect until the last part of the book, then boom instantly on love! No build up , just in love from h beginning ! I loved Andi and Sebastian as narrators! But it is worth the time, just not as good as the previous books in this series.

What would have made Beautiful Secret better?

The story was so slow. I loved all the previous Beautiful series. This was such a let down. The H was such a wimp...it just was so immature,

What could Christina Lauren have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Make a strong H like ALL of her previous books.

Did Charlotte Penfield and Jonathan Cole do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

They did a great job.

What character would you cut from Beautiful Secret?

I'm sad to day the Male lead.

I waited so long for this book and was very disappointed at this story.

What did you like best about Finding My Prince Charming? What did you like least?

At first I thought it would b a cute story, but as it b came obvious that the H was the most hateful, rude and cold person that I'd ever seen as hell of a romanc I began to tire of the story.

What was most disappointing about J. S. Cooper’s story?

That I realized the last 10 minutes of the story there was going to be nothing resolved, a cliffhanger! I don't even care to find out how this dreadful story ends!

What about Tanya Stevens’s performance did you like?

Her narration was fine.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

Definitely not!

I hate it when books are a series or a continuation....I wish Audible would let the reader know this, so we could decide whether we want to risk buying the book and having to wait however long til the conclusion of the next book comes out! But like I said this will be one that I will not be buying the 2nd book!

Yes, I've read the other 2 books in this series but I'm unsure about the rest.

What was most disappointing about Jill Sanders’s story?

It just was so slow in my opinion.

None, Couldn't finish it.

Do you think Returning Pride needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

First two books were really good. I liked the second one the best.

I liked the idea of the hero having a disability, but it just was very raining on me to keep trying to find the characters interesting.

I'm unsure,I couldn't get past chapter 3,

How could the performance have been better?

This particular narrator drags the endings of words and whenever there are pauses, its horrible!

I made the mistake of not listening to the audio sample....I would've never bought this book if I'd listened to the sample.

leaves you hanging!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

The story is a light read, quirky and somewhat unbelievable, but enjoyable..... but why on the world would Audiobook sell a book that leaves you hanging and not have the other party available to buy!!!! Done buy this book unless the other party is available, the story stops on midstream and I hate when this happens and your left feeling cheated!

Only if the book isn't in a series.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I don't believe this book was that great, for anyone. It seemed to be irritating, threes narrator's voice impersonation was horrible.

Would you ever listen to anything by Marie-Nicole Ryan again?

Maybe, but not with this narrator.

How could the performance have been better?

By using a different narrator.

What character would you cut from The Man for the Job?

None, characters were fine.

A bad narrator really runs the book for me. Maybe of the narrator had not tried using an English accent might have made the listening of this book bare able.

What would have made Final Sin better?

This was the worst narration that I had ever heard! There were so many long pauses fromFrom chapter to chapter' that I thought there was a problem with the recording. The narrator also seemed to forget she was narrating a book because of her several mistakes. The story seemed an okay read, but the narrator ruined it!

The ending was fine.

What didn’t you like about Gwendolyn Jensen-Woodard’s performance?

it was really horrible..... I honestly can't find anything nice to say... Seemed liked it was very aamatuer-ish..
