The bes ending of all
Revisado: 06-17-24
I love this book. I like the way she bought Billy son back. I always suspected that Enid and James had a son or a daughter. the way you ended Maisie's story was the best. I am sad to see this story end. Normally I listen to audiobooks once but, this is the first time I ever listened to an audiobook twice.

Historia
The country that gave us Vlad Dracula, and whose citizens consider themselves descendants of ancient Rome, has traditionally preferred the status of enigmatic outsider. But this beautiful and unexplored land has experienced some of the most disastrous leaderships of the last century. After a relatively benign period led by a dutiful King and his vivacious British-born Queen, the country oscillated wildly.

The End of an Era
Revisado: 04-18-24
I love this book. I saw this play out on TV when I was growing up. I always wanted to know more about what happened during this period. I read one book on this subject a couple of years ago but it was short and did not tell everything that this book told. This book basically went into the whole history of Romania. I love both the narration and the story.

Historia
It's 1977. Ike and Lucy, Senator Charlie and Margaret Marder's kids, are grown up—and in trouble. US Marine Ike has gone somewhat off the grid, working on Evel Knievel's pit crew in Montana, when—after a bar fight—he has to flee a neo-Nazi gang and seek refuge in the woods with a group of Vietnam veterans. Lucy, a reporter, has become the star of the brand-new Washington DC tabloid, the Sentinel, and is breaking all sorts of stories about a serial killer and falling in with the Lyons, the wealthy family that owns the newspaper.

All the Big Demons are Here!!!!
Revisado: 08-22-23
I loved this book. This book has great historical details. I think it was great to see in the life of the Ike and Lucy. Jake Tapper may be a news anchor but he has proved he is a good writer. My favorite part was when they were on the Island with all of the politicians. Lucy and Ike are just as strong and courageous as their parents.

Historia
Since his untimely death on June 29, 1978, Bob Crane's unofficial biography has become akin to a broken record. Like a skip in the acetate, his murder and the scandal that grew from it have been the repeated focus of attention, to the exclusion of nearly everything else. Over time, the line between fact and fiction blurred, and his life story became distorted. All perspective on Bob Crane as a human being was lost, and he became nothing more than a two-dimensional cartoon character without depth or understanding.

I have a new understanding of Bob Crane. All remember of him are the reports I heard from the news magazine shows and they only talked about the scandal. This book gave me a new perspective on who he really was.

Historia
Imagine if you made one little mistake when you were young and were punished for it for the rest of your life. Well, that’s what happened to Lydia (yes, that Lydia, the youngest Bennet sister from Pride and Prejudice), and she’s here to set the record straight. Hold on to your teacups and get ready for sophisticated (and a little bit naughty) hot takes and witty banter that’ll make you laugh—and think. We meet Lydia just as she is denounced by her family, exiled miles from home, and married to the rogue George Wickham, who seems to love all women...except his own wife.

Historia
Mildred Pierce had gorgeous legs, a way with a skillet, and a bone-deep core of toughness and determination. She used those attributes to survive a divorce in 1940s America with two children and to claw her way out of poverty, becoming a successful businesswoman. But Mildred also had two weaknesses: a yen for shiftless men and an unreasoning devotion to her monstrous daughter.

Stephen Fry's Edwardian Secrets

Historia
Perhaps thanks to TV period dramas, the popular imagination may picture the Edwardian era as an idyllic window between the wars, a time of manners and tea on the lawn. But below the surface lies a frenetic and often bizarre age where scientific leaps forward went hand in hand with belief in fairies, and secrets of sex, lies and murder simmered. Across 12 episodes, in this sequel to his Victorian Secrets, Stephen Fry uncovers some of the startling and unexpected hidden histories of the Edwardians.

CHRISTIAN GREY AT HIS BEST
Revisado: 08-01-21
This book was the best of the series. This book showed a human side to Christian the readers wanted to see. My favorite seen was when he was at the hospital with the injured Anna and his emotional barriers gave way. I could not stop listening to this book. I would go back to hear certain parts over and over again. Seeing things from Christian side especially when confronting his parents was eye opening. The best seen was when his father confronted him about his relationship with Elaina. His father could have hit him. This book answer a lot of questions about Christian life. Zachary Webber dose a great job narrating.
