Great introduction to the Dark Triad

Listened as a fiction writer and for self reflection. This is a great way to familiarize yourself with the traits of manipulators and their motivations.
The advice for coping in relationships with these personality types is in line with what I've learned from others in the psychiatric field.
Students, writers, or people trying to deal with a manipulative relationship will benefit from this content.
It's presented in a format that is easy to follow. Cues are included for taking notes.
I enjoyed listening and learning more about dark psychology.

Dark and exciting

It took a bit to get into the story but I was hooked by the third chapter. The trigger warning is not a marketing gimmick, it's a dark story from start to finish. There's a lot of action and you'll be guessing who will turn out to be the real anti-hero.
Brock Donovan is a great narrator. He gives characters a unique voice without sounding cartoonish.
The characters run from tortured pasts that aren't as far behind as they think. Compassion and romance are found in unexpected corners of a gritty environment.
Truth Moon is an entertaining, dark, edgy, and suspenseful listen. I was left wanting to see what happens in the sequel.

Like a great pal telling you that insane story

I love that the funeral home person was the first to say, "investigate that guy," was priceless. The exotic dancer knowing a creeper better than doctors shows who the smart ones are. Mike is the fun guy at the campout who knows the best stories. My only complaint is that it ended. Can't wait for the next episode.

Fake online relationship that led to some serious separation from reality and a harsh collision with karma. Everyone in a virtual "relationship" should hear this. World Wide Web is home to a wide variety of spiders. Great story.
