I took a gamble on the first book, not really knowing what to expect. It didn't take me long to become totally enamored with the story, the characters, the plot , humor, drama, etc. I'm currently starting the 3rd book.

Fascinating and magical.

I thoroughly loved the story it was unlike anything I have read. The narrator made me feel like I was in a mysterious and magical land and I was listening to the stories of a different and colorful people from a different land, which Nigeria certainly is to me.

I was very impressed with this book, it's creativity and it's storyline. The technical rhetoric, the dogfight scenes, personality conflicts all added to giving this book depth into the human condition, the struggle of survival and the choices we make.

I wanted to read something different and was searching various book's and reading reviews . I stumbled on to Hard Magic by chance. The reviews tickled my fancy at first but once I started reading the book, I was hooked and couldn't put it down. I'm about to order the 2nd book and can only hope it will be as riveting as the first visiting. Worth the read.

I loved it and the more I listened the more there was to love. I mystery, wonder, drama and action had me spellbound. I have never been big on writing reviews since I feel I can never give them the full justice due.

I was captivated from begining to end the of this book. It grabbed my attention from the start and I took me on what felt like an emotional rollercoaster ride. I am an avid Sci/fantasy buff and only read this particular book on account of having just finished reading a sci/fantasy from this author that I thoroughly and utterly loved.
