Throughout his career, Raphael Collazo has helped business owners identify, analyze, and ultimately secure commercial space for their business operations. However, after guiding many through the process, he realized how little his clients knew about leasing commercial real estate. After scouring the web for resources he could share with them, he was surprised by what he discovered. There were only a handful of books on the topic, and of those that were available, most were overly complicated and difficult to understand.

As a new CRE Sales Associate I am consuming as much information as I can to help me stand apart in this exciting real estate market. Raphael’s book assisted me in adding to that knowledge by providing a wealth of information on commercial leasing from the lessee’s perspective.
With the information presented in this book I am more equipped to assist my clients in finding a space that will allow them to grow their business without the added stress of being tied to a lease and/or space that doesn’t serve them or their business plan.
The value I can provide to my landlords has also increased as this information will help me place lessees in spaces that will have higher rates of success for fulfilling their lease commitments.
As a former teacher I place a high value on useable information that is presented in an easily digestible format and Raphael succeeds on that front as well. As a reader you want to move onto the next section because you feel you are gaining knowledge you can put into practice right away without being overwhelmed.
TLDR: If you are a business owner leasing space or a CRE professional looking to provide more to your clients start here!
