I have read the book before and now started to listen to all books in the series. Story is indeed great, informative and thought provoking.

Am really happy with the performance. Fluent, clear diction and excellent voice modulations for different characters.

OK story - not usual Ashwin Sanghi standard. Narration horrible

Story: I am a major Ashwin Sanghi fan, but I felt story was a bit dragged, not usual Ashwin Sanghi standard. Too abusive language - far more than real life even for cops. I like the overall storyline concept though.

Narration: In an attempt to add different sounds and accents for different characters, ARS as over compensated and the overall effect is quite woeful. Also his pronunciation of many english words and some Indian names are wrong. I hope ARS corrects these quickly or the second books gets a more naturally vivid narrator. Some good examples of great narrations are Stephen Fry in Harry Potter series and The Complete Works of Sherlock Holmes, and Davina Porter in Outlander series. Of course being an accomplished actor himself multiple characterization would come naturally to Stephen Fry

Predictable pattern in stories. Narrator does a great job

After one or two books, the pattern seems to be the same - all sorties will have an abusive pattern, people who have deep issues and enjoy great sex. Series became boring after that.
Sophie’s narration is excellent.

Very insightful - must listen for all

Great content for a course of this length. Very useful eye-opening insights for all. I just wish this was a more recent course and not from 2019 as things have changed during this time - would have loved to hear about the latest situation.

Narration is excellent and easy to follow. Prof. Golbeck’s passion on the subject and her oratory skills are wel reflected.

Interesting story, mind-blowing performance

Story is interesting, although a little overboard. The author has made it interesting with amazing sense of humor.

Performance is mind-blowing. The five stars are because of the narrators. It’s been a while since I heard them last in the ‘Mystic Bayou’ series, and they take it to the next level here.

Stephen Fry + Sherlock Holmes = Listeners’ delight!

I have always been a fan of Sherlock Holmes and am absolutely amazed at the sharp brain and vast (depth and spread) knowledge of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

Stephen Fry, as always, brings the whole story to life like no-one else can. I fell in love to listening books after his rendition of Harry Potter series, and this one matches up to it.

Elizabeth Evans is the real hero here
