Patriotism kills pure, patriotism destroys
Revisado: 12-06-24
Very predictable very little room for compromise in the story kind of embarrassing for human beings if that if that’s the way it ends or if that’s the way we think it might end why

The problem with lying about having a super weapon is that the bad guys might believe they have nothing to lose by doing something stupid that both sides will regret. Or, they might just call your bluff. Either way, the Merry Band of Pirates need a plan to deal with the Fallout.

Well, I’ll tell you what
Revisado: 03-05-23
If you listen to this entire series of books, and expect anything other than entertainment, Then you should be a character in one of these books.
This particular book kept the character with the others as it should. It did a good job of leaving it in open for another book in the future.
It did introduced new characters for the future. It did not, however, leave you expecting the next book.
If you were expecting a literary cornucopia of space, travel knowledge, yeah, you should be a character in the book.
I gave this book for stars. For one reason it felt like the story was ending. I did like the ending. I would like to see the story go on
The whole cerise was friggin incredible that anybody could dream up all that was there, and it was very exciting in parts, and totally unbelievable. Except for one thing we were listening to it and it was believable in our minds. We imagine what it look like and that’s what this series was about. The amount of time you’ve invested in either reading or listening to this series and then you give the last one anything less than four stars well, I feel sorry for you.
As you can see, I am a fan now and I don’t believe that I have ever been a fan of anything before.
Thank you for the service. I enjoyed it. My wife enjoyed it and it really was incredible the second time through.

Very very different
Revisado: 05-15-22
I really enjoyed this book it was very very different from what I expected the sub plot was very subtle and not even known till halfway through the book the plot was good there was another subplot in there that you had to look for to find the.
The accent of the narrator was excellent the story was very good very good and the ending was very different I don’t think anyone will be able to predict how it was going to come out.
Well that’s not exactly right I think that it was just very different to me and some people who do more listening than I do will probably be able to figure the ending out anyways it’s great thank you

Historia
In the high mountains of Tibet, rumors are spreading. People whisper of an outbreak, of thousands of dead, of bodies pushed into mass graves. It is some strange new disease...a disease, they say, that can kill in minutes. The Chinese government says the rumors aren't true, but no one is allowed in or out of Tibet. At the Pentagon, admiral James Curtiss learns that satellite images prove that a massive genocide is underway. This is no disease. It's a weapons test. Chinese scientists have developed a way to kill based on a person's genetic traits.

It’s good but it’s not the Stephen King you’re used to
Revisado: 08-13-21
I think the narrator could’ve done better maybe I expected Stephen King to read it or maybe I just wanted to hear him read it.
The characters believable enough some of the bad guys are believable enough and some aren’t.
I talk about the ending but that will help for you to want to listen to the book that’s worthwhile.
It is worthwhile the whole bookTake your time and get some rest between putting it down it’s not a page turner very little suspense but it’s good

Historia
We were fighting on the wrong side of a war we couldn't win. And that was the good news. The Ruhar hit us on Columbus Day. There we were, innocently drifting along the cosmos on our little blue marble, like the native Americans in 1492. Over the horizon come ships of a technologically advanced, aggressive culture, and BAM! There go the good old days, when humans only got killed by each other. So, Columbus Day. It fits. When the morning sky twinkled again, this time with Kristang starships jumping in to hammer the Ruhar, we thought we were saved.
