Historia
The problem with so many positive-thinking books and self-help routines is that they don't give you the whole formula. The Payoff Principle gives you that formula - Purpose + Passion + Process = Payoff - and then works as your guidebook, teaching you how to apply the formula to achieve success at work, at home, and everywhere you go. When you find purpose in what you do, exhibit passion for the outcome, and master the process to make it happen, you produce the payoffs you want, need, and deserve.

Practical. This is a great 'how to' book.

Where does The Payoff Principle rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This is one of the most practical books I've ever read on how to get what I want out of life. It's really a step-by-step guide for finding purpose, adding passion, and creating a process for getting what I want. My definition of success is different than most, and this book takes that into consideration.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Payoff Principle?
Dr. Zimmerman's story about his personal difficulties and how he overcame them.
Which scene was your favorite?
I love the picture of passion that Dr. Zimmerman paints. It's an image of fire, and how it consists of three parts, persistence, attitude, and character. A completely new perspective on passion.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
From chaos to clarity.

Historia
Good attitudes bring good results, and bad attitudes bring bad results. It's that simple. In fact, attitude is the number one predictor of success. It is a better predictor of success than education, intelligence, family background, race, gender, or almost any other factor you can think of. And yet so many people have been saddled with a myth. They think, "I can't help the way I feel. That's just the way I am." The good news is you can have a powerful positive attitude...all the time...no matter what the circumstances. You can defeat negativity, stop worrying, and overcome failure.
