I have always considered myself a Britney Spears fan. I wasn't part of the #freebritney movement. But, like others have said, I knew that something wasn't right in the early 2000s and during the conservatorship.
In this book she shares this raw side of herself and speaks up, finally for herself. This book pulls back the curtain on the paparazzi, and their tactics and makes one question everything that they see in the "entertainment" news industry. Britney was pushed, mentally and physically, in ways that no new mother should have been. The death of a child and the removal of her others cut her to the core. This was one of my favorite quotes from the book: A friend told her: ‘If someone took my baby away from me, I would have done a lot more than get a haircut. I would have burned the city to the ground.’
Amen momma bear, Amen.
And props to Michelle Williams; her read was so good. There she was, a beautiful, soothing voice, when discussing dark mental health topics, and knowing how her own life was touched by it, my goodness, what a gift Michelle gave to Britney as the teller of her story.

Lincoln says in 2 minutes that which later orators still struggle with. This is best 2 minutes you could spend today.
