I cross the tracks every day for one reason - to graduate from this school and get into the Ivy League. I'm not ashamed of where I come from, my family, or how everyone at Marymount thinks my skirts are too short and my lipstick is too red. Clay Collins and her friends have always turned up their noses at me. The witch with her beautiful skin, clean shoes, and rich parents who torments me daily and thinks I won't fight back. At least not until I get her alone and find out she's hiding so much more than just what's underneath those pretty clothes.

It’s an F/F book for straight people

Yeah, this was painfully terrible. It’s not the sapphic dark “romance” it seems to be at face value. It’s for straight people who want to enjoy fetishizing their sapphics in peace. So, just a warning in case you’re actually a gay / bisexual / queer person looking for an enjoyable read.
On the writing itself - I thought the lack of quality was a fluke at first. But no, that’s the book - premise, plot, and characters are trash and unlikable.
The narrators did their best with this mess though. Props to them.

Know what you’re getting yourself into; read the content warnings on the author’s website before purchasing. The writing is excellent, the plot is the most interesting I’ve come across in a while, and the narrator’s wide range and ability to pronounce non-Western words/names correctly really bring the book to life.
