this is another serious that I will be waiting with bated breath to read. Brandon Sanderson brings to life the characters so well, leaving enough in the gaps for your imagination to fill it in but giving you story that will spark that imagination into flames.
as I was listening to this book it was very reminiscent of the reckoners series. another series that I devoured it was fantastic. This Series has great promise and I can't wait for the next book to come out.

one of the best stories in the cosemere sorry section. I still wish it would get is own full book, but Brandon hasn't learned how to split himself into 6 people to do everything his fans want him to do. not yet anyway.

had a harder time starting and finishing than I expected. I like hero stories and didn't want this one to end. Once I got going, though, I didn't want to stop. it'll be on my yearly listen (between series wait list) for a while. Sanderson had done it again.

loved the story, have listened to it probably more than I should and still love to imagine the final scene. I've been waiting for the second book for 2 years now (hopefully it'll be done in 2019).
