I can't recommend this enough. The characters are well written and the story is fantastic. The narrator did a fantastic job too. I was pulled in at the beginning.

The story is great, but the narration could be better.
Revisado: 10-12-17
I really enjoyed this story and was looking forward to hearing it narrated. I was disappointed though. The narrator ends a lot her sentences like she is asking a question, meaning her voice goes a little higher at the end. You do this when you ask a question, not for every single sentence. Also, the narrator showed very little emotion when she was performing. I want to hear the excitement, the sadness.. it just wasn't there. She spoke pretty monotone.
The story is awesome, just not the narration. Sorry.

Great story, but performance too clipped
Revisado: 12-01-16
Bridget Blackwood is one of my favorite authors and I love this story along with it's characters. That being said, I'm not as happy with the narration. Ms. Worthy's speech intonation was very short. More of a staccato. Feelings and emotions didn't come across well because she spoke in such a clipped manner. I really feel like the story didn't come across as good as it is because of the performance.
I highly recommend the story!

Historia
Alexandra James gave up her spring break for an offer she couldn't refuse: a week-long job that would earn her enough money to buy her way out of a broken heart. But if she thought her new boss would let her off easy because he's her father's best friend, she couldn't have been more wrong.

Love the story!
Revisado: 09-21-15
Where does Strictly Off Limits rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I have heard better audiobooks, but I have heard worse too. The narrator did a great job of differentiating between the characters, but she still sounded a little "flat" to me concerning the main character. I know she was more of an innocent girl more than a woman, but the longer scenes were a little boring to me because the narrator didn't use much emotion in her words.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Strictly Off Limits?
I loved when they were eating at her parents and Dean was feeling her up under the table!
What do you think the narrator could have done better?
More emotion when it came to the main character especially.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I laughed out loud several times while listening. Especially when Dean was talking to her father while she was...ummm...preoccupied.
