Historia
A high-profile attorney in the middle of a leave of absence following a personal tragedy is drawn back into the legal arena amidst a media firestorm when he agrees to represent a popular rap artist accused of brutally murdering his pop star girlfriend. With its powerful voice, pause-resisting tension, and strong cast of characters, Adam Mitzner’s novels are reminiscent of such best-selling authors as Scott Turow and John Grisham.

Would never thought of such a thing 40 years ago
Revisado: 04-08-19
Scary something I think every parent has thought about at least once. I think of the times I had the babies in a shopping cart and just dukes around the corner to get something on the last isle, leaving the baby alone in the cart Of course that was a different time 40 years ago but it still could have happened. Anyway enjoyed the book very much

Historia
A sophisticated, pause-resisting double love story spanning 40 years-an unforgettable Brief Encounter for our times. It is 1960. When Jennifer Stirling wakes up in the hospital, she can remember nothing-not the tragic car accident that put her there, not her husband, not even who she is. She feels like a stranger in her own life until she stumbles upon an impassioned letter, signed simply "B", asking her to leave her husband. Years later, in 2003, a journalist named Ellie discovers the same enigmatic letter in a forgotten file in her newspaper's archives.

I love Jodi Pico's books
But this one in particular had me hooked from the beginning
However I didn't have any of it figured out and I'm glad because I feel I learned a lot about the fine line between love and hate especially when it runs along racial lines. Great Book Jodi my new favorite .🙏🏻God Bless✨

Ausome book
Revisado: 04-28-16
I liked the narrator very much the story line was great right up to the end. I was however very disappointed at the very end the monster was at Rachel's apartment but had he killed her or did he just want her father to know he could get to her at anytime?? I don't like being left to wonder. I guess however that it did keep you guessing right up to the end which was certainly one I was not expecting. I will definitely be listening to more Eric Rickstad👍
