Not Grisham's best. Predictable. Would gave been so much more interesting if there had be a twist-like the mafia was behind all of it. Oh well, still a fan.

Listening to this addressed so many thoughts and doubts I have had in my Christian walk. A change in heart of the main character, Simon, is very inspirational and encouraging!

Historia
January 12, 1888, began as an unseasonably warm morning across Nebraska, the Dakotas, and Minnesota, the weather so mild that children walked to school without coats and gloves. But that afternoon, without warning, the atmosphere suddenly, violently changed. One moment the air was calm; the next the sky exploded in a raging chaos of horizontal snow and hurricane-force winds. Temperatures plunged as an unprecedented cold front ripped through the center of the continent.

Excellent-something for every interest
Revisado: 01-19-22
This is a very sad story with many lessons to learn and engaging stories showing the good and bad sides of human nature. Includes much information about meteorology and physics, history, anatomy and physiology, politics, and economics. Looking at it on this side of history it boggles the mind how shortsighted people were, but I guess we'll be judged as such too. This book is definitely worth the time.

Gripping mystery with a twist-reveals the darkness and deception of Hollywood. Characters are well developed, but who can be trusted? Made me paranoid right up to the end! Author narration is gripping and enthralling.

New York, 1888. Gas lamps still flicker in the city streets, but the miracle of electric light is in its infancy. Entertaining and Informative!
Revisado: 02-12-20
This is an excellent story of "The Current War". The dimensions of the confluence of people and events are personified in four very different, but profoundly influential people. The author gives a good insight into the personalities of Edison, Westinghouse, and Tessla while illustrating the conflicts and complexities of science and invention in The Current War. More like this, please!

Good explanation of Innocence Project
Revisado: 01-19-20
It is stories like this that will lead to the changes necessary to bring truth and justice back to our judicial system. Many good people work hard in this system, but some work only to win cases, not to discover truth. This attitude must stop. Being arrested does not automatically make one guilty. And being indicted or even convicted does not always mean guilt, either. This book explains why it is so important never to give up the search for truth.
