Just so much philosophic and practical wisdom articulated around financial matters that does not get discussed elsewhere. I want my kids, my family, and my clients to read and learn from this book and now after going through it a third time, I’m sending this to a bunch of folks in my world. Enjoy!

Very well done. With aging parents on mine and my spouses side, this book provides lots of questions to begin discovering what would mean the most for our family during coming transitions. Beautifully laid out story. Thank you!

But this book was tremendous. I love that Tyler reads his own words and that they choke him up in many parts. This book and these words mean a great deal to the author. He truly put himself into this story.

The production is great. He’s such a great character for reading in a calm and conversational tone and pace.

The stories he share are real, challenging, engaging, and at times, blush-worthy. It’s tastefully vulnerable and unashamedly honest and exposed.

This will replace a title in my Top 10 ever. As a white male, this book stirred many things for me about race that I had not considered.

Tyler, you truly captured something here that I have not found any other writer has been able traverse. You created empathy and understanding devoid of adversarial conflict. Not because you don’t touch on hot issues nor because you do not call out very real and present tensions, but because you demonstrate and capture the conversation inside the confines of understanding in commitment to peace and change.

The MLK side presents your Malcolm X fire in a way like I have heard no other.

The audio quality finally did me in

The author gives a disclaimer at the beginning that the content is not meant to be comprehensive but a couple anecdotes to capture a personality and character.

Great.

Unfortunately, the quality of the recording in parts was SO POOR that it sounds as if I’m slowly going deaf or thick ear muffs have been placed on my head.

After suffering through 40% of the work, I’ve finally had enough.

Walter Isaacson continues to glimpse the mind of a curious thinker recognized far beyond what the muse would have ever expected.

Da Vinci is a humble book in which the author has taken incredible strides to expand his vocabulary and own scholarly curiosity to depict the development and torture of this artists mind.

In the very last pages (minutes) the author shares that one should “be curious for the sake of being curious.” No intention would bring you to this book and leave you displeased.

And if you have stumbled on it and remain curious about your next course of action, than let the story and tale of this incredible thinker take your arm and guide you into a world of curiosity and gayety. If you have read this far and still not made up your mind, press “confirm” and move on. You seem as though you could use a little courage and a breath of fresh air.

Well done, Walter. You are yet to fail on delivering for the memoirs of the great thinkers, a biography that will endear the subject even more to every reader. Well done.
