This is my favorite read this year! An extremely satisfying story told from an old southern ladies point of view, I really enjoyed this one!

Historia
In the year 2045, reality is an ugly place. The only time Wade Watts really feels alive is when he’s jacked into the OASIS, a vast virtual world where most of humanity spends their days. When the eccentric creator of the OASIS dies, he leaves behind a series of fiendish puzzles, based on his obsession with the pop culture of decades past. Whoever is first to solve them will inherit his vast fortune—and control of the OASIS itself.

Historia
What’s a sweets-loving young boy growing up gay in North Carolina in the '80s supposed to think when he’s diagnosed with type-1 diabetes? That God is punishing him, naturally. This was, after all, when gay-hating Jesse Helms was his senator, AIDS was still the boogeyman, and no one was saying, "It gets better." And if stealing a copy of a gay porno magazine from the newsagent was a sin, then surely what the men inside were doing to one another was much worse. Sweet Tooth is Tim Anderson’s uproarious memoir of life after his hormones and blood sugar both went berserk.

Funny Coming of Age Memoir
Revisado: 02-25-15
I had my eye on this one since it came out. Once I saw a few folks had weighed in on it and liked it, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I'm glad I did because I really enjoyed the authors style and pace. It's funny and genuine. It brought me back to the same time in my life and had me laughing at the crazy things that all teenagers go through despite our different personal challenges.
Warning, It's not for anyone squeamish about young adult sex!

Historia
There are some odd things about Nate’s new apartment. Of course, he has other things on his mind. He hates his job. He has no money in the bank. No girlfriend. No plans for the future. So while his new home isn’t perfect, it’s livable. The rent is low, the property managers are friendly, and the odd little mysteries don’t nag at him too much. At least, not until he meets Mandy, his neighbor across the hall, and notices something unusual about her apartment. And Xela’s apartment. And Tim’s. And Veek’s.

Would you try another book from Peter Clines and/or Ray Porter?
It was not as good as I expected based on the reviews. I did finish it though so I guess I enjoyed it!

Great book, wonderfully read...
Revisado: 01-17-10
I really enjoyed this book when I read it a few years ago, so I decided to try it on Audible. I'm glad I did, I couldn't wait to listen every day! Francine Rivers is a gifted story teller and Kate Forbes did a terrific job of drawing me in.
I highly recommend "The Last Sin Eater" to anyone looking for a satisfying "read".
