Historia
When Tate Collins meets airline pilot Miles Archer, she doesn't think it's love at first sight. They wouldn’t even go so far as to consider themselves friends. The only thing Tate and Miles have in common is an undeniable mutual attraction. Once their desires are out in the open, they realize they have the perfect set-up. He doesn’t want love, she doesn’t have time for love, so that just leaves the sex. Their arrangement could be surprisingly seamless, as long as Tate can stick to the only two rules Miles has for her.

Not sure what to think
Revisado: 09-26-23
I really enjoy all the books from this author and I have read a few, however I am bored of books about damaged men and women fixing those men. The story is good, the plot is amazing I just would like to read different novel stories, this seems like another 50 shades of grey

Historia
After Tova Sullivan’s husband died, she began working the night shift at the Sowell Bay Aquarium, mopping floors and tidying up. Keeping busy has always helped her cope, which she’s been doing since her eighteen-year-old son, Erik, mysteriously vanished on a boat in Puget Sound over thirty years ago. Tova becomes acquainted with curmudgeonly Marcellus, a giant Pacific octopus living at the aquarium. Marcellus knows more than anyone can imagine but wouldn’t dream of lifting one of his eight arms for his human captors—until he forms a remarkable friendship with Tova.

Not for me
Revisado: 06-09-23
This book was a shock for me, I really loved Marcelus and the voices of Marin and Michael but it was not for me. I could stick to it, I constantly got bored, didn’t understand the plot either.

Historia
Daisy is a girl coming of age in LA in the late '60s, sneaking into clubs on the Sunset Strip, sleeping with rock stars, and dreaming of singing at the Whisky a Go Go. The sex and drugs are thrilling, but it’s the rock and roll she loves most. By the time she’s 20, her voice is getting noticed, and she has the kind of heedless beauty that makes people do crazy things. Also getting noticed is The Six, a band led by the brooding Billy Dunne.

Me gusto que fuera de una temática diferente, nunca había leído un libro así y también me gusto la manera en la que está narrado. Lo único que me aburrió es que no vi ningún clímax, seguí esperando y esperando y eventualmente el libro se terminó

Historia
Florence, the 1550s. Lucrezia, third daughter of the grand duke, is comfortable with her obscure place in the palazzo: free to wonder at its treasures, observe its clandestine workings, and to devote herself to her own artistic pursuits. But when her older sister dies on the eve of her wedding, Lucrezia is thrust into the limelight: the duke is quick to request her hand in marriage, and her father just as quick to accept on her behalf. Having barely left girlhood behind, Lucrezia must make her way in a court whose customs are opaque and where her arrival is not universally welcomed.

Read this before purchasing
Revisado: 12-28-22
This is a great beginners book, it’s quite complete. Do not buy it for audible, there are recipes, charts and it’s better if you have the physical or digital book.
Talking about the narrator, OMG 2 worst of all the books I have listened so far. I felt that Alexa or Siri were reading a book, cero pitch elevation; it was so hard to finish this book, I only did it because I need to finish all the ones I start to provide a reasonable feedback.

Historia
Dish up the red meat, eggs, and whole milk! In this well-researched and captivating narrative, veteran food writer Nina Teicholz proves how everything we've been told about fat is wrong. For decades, Americans have cut back on red meat and dairy products full of "bad" saturated fats. We obediently complied with nutritional guidelines to eat "heart healthy" fats found in olive oil, fish, and nuts, and followed a Mediterranean diet heavy on fruits, vegetables, and grains. Yet the nation's health has declined. What is going on?

Worst the reading
Revisado: 12-19-22
I would first need to start saying that I am an engineer and what I can conclude after reading this book, is that testing any topic that directly impacts humans is extremely difficult since any experiments firs takes tons of time and second we end up being humans, and the experiment cannot be controlled. Therefore, I disagree with her conclusions, although it helped me understand the process of any diet or assumptions and why my mom gave me CocaCola and sugar in any meal

Not sure what to think
Revisado: 11-30-22
It’s a book that tells you a little bit a couple of ideas but end up not meeting my expectations. I was waiting to receive more examples and more deep information and without noticing it, I ended finishing the book. Definitely there is good content here although I was expecting more.
I have been in audible for a month and I was expecting a female voice rather than a male, since the author is female. I believe it’s something I need to get used to

Historia
Buddha and Einstein Walk into a Bar explores the revolutionary idea that sensing how long we can live is a latent capacity in us, currently unknown - just like the introduction of fire, the invention of flying, and the discovery of radio waves were before we “discovered” them. Understand how the knowledge of transcendence, consciousness, and self-healing are integral to your well-being.You could drive a car without a fuel gauge, but knowing how much gas you have clearly gives you more control of your vehicle.

In January 2019, culture writer Anne Helen Petersen set the internet on fire with her viral BuzzFeed essay diagnosing “millennial burnout” - a chronic state of stress and exhaustion that’s become a “base temperature” for young people today. Now, she continues this generation-defining conversation in a brand-new format, interviewing millennials around the country about their own deeply personal experiences with burnout, and the culture that creates it.
