Whiny Teenagers, Poor Prose

I had difficulty getting far enough through this set to leave a review. Here is another "author" who seems to have slept through her English Lit. classes. 6 "books" and not one has an ending. They all just stop. Exceptionally poor rambling prose. Each book needs a beginning, storyline and ending. Whiny characters . The first finger, after the thumb, on the human hand, is the index finger, Not pointer finger!
I will be returning this set and not even consider another book from this alleged author.

Ms McGuire, Why?

Severely disappointed in the last chapter of the best October Daye novel yet.
Why have you joined the "authors" who don't know how to end a book??? That last chapter should be the first chapter of next year's novel not tacked on like you did.
That tactic will cause me, for one, to reconsider continuing to buy these and any others of your works.

Poorly Programed!

I Do NOT Want to go to the next story!!! The stupid thing won't return to the story that I missed half of so I can finish listening!
If I click on the last story, Why does the site say and go to "Picking up where you left off"??? That's NOT Where I want to go!!!
I give up, These 10 minute stories are NOT worth the aggravation!!

Difficult to understand and follow

I had difficulty in understanding the narrator's, at times, exceptionally thick Irish Brogue. This made the story difficult to follow much of the time. The last few chapters were especially difficult to follow. I will be returning this book.

Best of the "Fallen Empire" series

Most books I just leave star ratings. I do offer my opinions when I find a writer lacking. Especially those, who do not seem to know good books, even in a series, need to be very much stand alone literature.
In my opinion, Lindsey Buroker is one of the best. I have thoroughly enjoyed the Fallen Empire series. Book eight, End Game is the best. Having been born to a line of smart alec family, I truly appreciate that aspect of the lead character's personality.
This book is well written, suspenseful and humorous in the right places.

Between the, over the top, foul mouthed baron and all of the anal sex, I found this book disgusting.
The performance was fine but I could not finish this book.

Why can't today's authors write?

Yet another author who doesn't seem to understand that just saying The End is NOT how to end a book.
You need to end a/the storyline!!
