the author needs to work on her romance concepts, these were awful. I did enjoy the general plots even though they could turn to the technical for too long a period of reading.

Sorry but it took me a year to get through this book. I started it and had to put it down many time it was just that painful to "read".
The narrator was pretty good and I'll even say the character development was good. It was just the story line was hard to follow most of the time.
someone with more patients than I might enjoy this book more.

I love this series and am always waiting for the next instalment.
But I will admit that this book had me baffled. There was many a moments when I had to go back in the chapter to see if I missed something. But I hadn't.
On the whole I liked the book but not as much as the others.

I did not like this, at all

I kept waiting for a true story to happen not just facts thrown / written on paper.
I wasn't too crazy about the lesbianism but that wasn't a deal breaker.
I couldn't like the main character. I saw her as a playgirl bed hopping that for the book had no purpose.
It wasn't until the very last that her character begins to have some depth.

I would not recommend this book to anyone

I like all the books. the wit, the charm and the plots were all good and had me hooked. the narrator was excellent, her reading was good and the different voices on point.
the only thing I didn't like was the last book and the difficulty I had with the storyline. things and time just seemed to be all over the place
but all in all I'm glad I "read" them.

I read some of the other reviews and wasn't sure I would like this book.
After hearing that the narrator from the other books past away and that there was a new girl in town narrating also had me worried.
Well I pressed on and gave it a try. It wasn't bad. The story was good, even though it was missing some of the usual catch phrases that we've become accustomed to. The characters were all present. I did get the feeling that the narrator has a harder time doing the male voices because Darcy and Grandad seemed a bit off.
My biggest complaint was the way the narrator pronounced Georgie's last name. Every time I heard it l wanted to scream. Really didn't she listen to any of the other books.
But all in all, I did like the book and will give the next one a try.

This is a wonderful series. I live every one of them and this is no different. The repartee between the characters is so enjoyable.
Can't wait for the next book.
