Historia
Stuck in a corporate job rut and faced with an unraveling marriage at the age of thirty-six, Roz Savage sat down one night and wrote two versions of her own obituary - the one that she wanted and the one she was heading for. They were very different. She realized that if she carried on as she was, she wasn't going to end up with the life she wanted. So she turned her back on an eleven-year career as a management consultant to reinvent herself as a woman of adventure.

Fascinating biography

Really enjoyed this book. So many different facets of Indra’s life and honest insights. Loved her narration. And whilst I have no dreams of becoming a CEO, it’s wonderful to hear what it’s like.

Historia
The mutiny on HMS Bounty, in the South Pacific on 28 April 1789, is one of history's truly great stories - a tale of human drama, intrigue and adventure of the highest order - and in the hands of Peter FitzSimons it comes to life as never before. Commissioned by the Royal Navy to collect breadfruit plants from Tahiti and take them to the West Indies, the Bounty's crew found themselves in a tropical paradise. Five months later, they did not want to leave.

Historia
In Gotta Get Theroux This, Louis takes the reader on a joyous journey from his anxiety-prone childhood to his unexpectedly successful career. Nervously accepting the BBC’s offer of his own series, he went on to create an award-winning documentary style that has seen him immersed in the weird worlds of paranoid US militias and secretive pro-wrestlers, get under the skin of celebrities like Max Clifford and Chris Eubank and tackle gang culture in San Quentin prison, all the time wondering whether the same qualities that make him good at documentaries might also make him bad at life.

An entertaining and easy holiday listen, with plenty to ponder and amuse. I appreciated getting to know Louis a little better, and his openness. Makes me want to binge watch all his work...

I can't stop thinking about the characters in this book
Revisado: 08-14-17
Absolutely beautifully written, and a genuine insight into one side of the war that we know very little about. The fact that this is a TRUE Story makes it even more incredible.
My son read this book too, and didn't realize it was true until near the end. He loved it for being such a page-turner and the incredible characters. When I told him, it blew his mind.
You won't regret diving into this book and the story of Pino Lella.

Historia
In this truly inspirational audio book, Anita Moorjani relates how, after fighting cancer for almost four years, her body began shutting down - overwhelmed by the malignant cells spreading throughout her system. As her organs failed, she entered into an extraordinary near-death experience (NDE) where she realized her inherent worth... and the actual cause of her disease. Upon regaining consciousness, Anita found that her condition had improved so rapidly that she was released from the hospital within weeks - without a trace of cancer in her body!
