I never thought I would like this since this isn’t something I subscribe to but I really enjoyed this story. I wished I knew what happened a year later now since they came to this mutual agreement and discovered their love one another.

I was surprised on the narration choice since I first thought Wesleigh being Novah but when Sadie was introduced, it made more sense. J Shani was great as Novah. Sean was the perfect voice for Hendrix as he always carries the BDE.

The sex scenes had my mouth open and it dropped more and more with every movement of the scene. It was HOT!

Now this is how you come back from a hiatus!!! Emmanuel came back in the game SWINGING!!!
This is my first Tacarra story and what an introduction. This story had me all over the place emotionally. What I can appreciate is not letting things hang out for too long. Communication was pretty good between Joni and Tori. Tori didn't wait too long to reveal he could be the father which most books would do.
Joni did not play about Tori and I loved that for her. She needed someone to calm her down and let her be the best woman and mother she could be.
This is my first book with Lauren as narrator. She sounds like Trei but more hood to her so I was not mad about it.

LONG but good story!

While I was looking forward to a LONG LISTEN. I feel maybe 2 hours could have been removed if Dominic and Sloane would have just COMMUNICATED BETTER. While I loved the internal dialog, it took them too long and almost a bad ending to this story to say it.

Sloane's mom and Dominic's dad BLEW me so much but I can identify with expectations of parents hindering your life if you let it. I am proud of them both for working through that with therapy and one another.

I hated that we got through all this story and didn't get to see them married already or the house being done. Hopefully the books with Mallory will reveal those.

You can never go wrong with Winston as narrator. He is always a good time. I saw a lot of reviews about how Bianca's narrating was not good for some but I had no problem with it. This is my first book hearing her narration and she was good enough for me.

Was NOT Disappointed

I had this sitting in my Wish List for over 2 months and FINALLY purchased it.

Westleigh and Sharif together is always a perfect match. Put Duet Style with them PERFECTION.

I like the fairy tale aspect of this story along with gang affairs. I identify with the FMC due to having to do stuff for and by yourself. I understood why she was hesitate to trust. I am happy MMC did not give up on her.

The spicy scenes were EVERYTHING!!! Sherif and that darn VOICE will do me over EVERY👏🏾TIME👏🏾
A great second book for this saga! ❤️

This was such a sweet book! Trevor and Sutton were both strong willed people who both loved their careers and the game not willing to give it up. At the end they didn't. They mades some adjustments to consider one another and I like that. I hate all that

Trevor went through a lot but he grew so much but he still demands respect.

Alyx and Winston did great telling this story. They partner well together and this just adds to it! ❤️

A BEAUTIFUL STORY!!!

I was hesitant to read at first but I am SO GLAD I did!
A story of two grieving people who learned to open up to one another and those around them.

The narrators were good. This is my first time hearing both of them and they did not disappoint! ❤️

A Good One!

The sample alone had me!
Deuce was so cocky and arrogant but when he said he had you, he had you. He needed a girl like Salima to set his tail straight! She was not a pick me and she made Deuce respect her.

The whole Dillinger family is a trip!! So many personalities but they loved one another with everything in them. I already know Maceo is next so can't wait for him and Shar's story!

Not only did the sample pull me in but Myles pulled me in! He knows he can narrate a street dude and make it convincing! He doesn't miss AT ALL. Ja'Air is always one to hold her own and did not disappoint in this one!

Kimberly knows she can write a good book! Keep them coming Sis!

This Story FRISTRATED ME!!!

This was my first book I have read from this author and what an introduction. It took me 3 days to complete this book and I know my son is happy to hear because I fussed the entire time listening.

Keem is the worst MC I have encountered so far. Couldn't nobody tell him nothing with the exception of Jody and that's BARELY. Jody was a good friend that holds you accountable and that's rare with men. Like others said in their reviews, he could do everything under the son but the women in his life could not. Taisa was no better but was walking more with her heart than her head.

If any lesson I could as someone older than them in the story is: Communication is everything. They kept hiding stuff that was important to know from one another and all it did was make trouble in their lives.

Narration for me was no problem. Myles is my book boo so he can do wrong in my eyes, lol. He can narrate the heck out of a street thug, drug lord, mob leader. He has the voice for it and it's believable. Tamika is new to me and it took a few chapters for me to adjust to her voice but I had no problem with it.

I don't know if it's a re-listen for me because BABY I went through it but take lessons from the story and don't do what they did.

A BEAUTIFUL story!

I had been anticipating this book and knew it would be good because Robbi DOES NOT MISS but it was even better than I expected.

As a lover of Monroe City due to my love of Somebody's Wife and Somebody's Forever, it was good to hear about other parts of the university and town. I want to go live there and go to graduate school there how good Robbi makes it sound.


Dresden and Harper's story separately was heartbreaking and beautiful. Their story together was a masterpiece! A slow burn but so worth it! I would love a short on their lives after this book. I would also like a cross on everyone in Monroe City and it be a full cast read.

Robbi you did if again ❤️
