A Fun Journey of Laughs, Luck, and Life

I may be writing this with rose colored glasses, but I thoroughly enjoyed this journey through the life, thoughts, and experiences of Matthew McConaughey, spoken with the velvet tones of the author. To me, it really captures his approach on life: disjointed yet coherent, with ebbs and flows, hills and valleys, because that is how most people experience their life: not orderly, but chaotic mostly. It is an enlightening tale of choice, risk and reward, and living your life rather than living life others expect of you. I enjoyed the organization of free-flow thoughts, stops and starts, asides and segways. If you are a fan of him, this is for you. If not, you may not exactly come back for seconds, but the meal will deliver a unique flavor, that one should at least try once.

Great Beginning to a Riveting Sci Fi Series

What did you love best about Area 51?
I love the story. It is intriguing that it pulls in several items from man's long, storied history and shakes things up down to the core with thrilling extraterrestrial intrigue. The characters are not as cookie cut as other books, as they and their back stories and experiences really help build this world. It took me a second to get used to Jeffrey Kafer's delivery, but his performance really helped suture myself into this universe.

Fun Zombie Apocalypse Story

This book was was a very fun journey. Very interesting to see the apocalypse from another area of the world other than United States. The voice narrating was riveting and captured my attention and imagination. Very good beginning to a promising series. Looking forward to see where the characters go from here.
