I finished this yesterday because I couldn’t put it down. It’s so good. If you grew up in any kind of legalism, man made rules, or environment where you feared God’s punishment if you did or didn’t do certain things- this is a must read.
Although I didn’t know of Bill Gothard growing up, shortly after my husband and I were married we attended one of his seminars (The Institute of Basic Life Principals). We still have our workbooks. Jinger carefully disentangles the harmful, dangerous teachings she learned from Bill Gothard from the true gospel of Jesus Christ. She so beautifully explains the freedom the gospel brings and the never ending love Jesus has for his children. A love opposite of fear.

Incredible book with practical wisdom

This is an incredible book that offers practical wisdom for understanding your spouse on a deeper level. Jeff and Beth share there story and their personal testimony of how discovering the enneagram helped strengthen their marriage. They explain each enneagram type in detail in order to understand yourself more and to understand your spouse more. They offer sound wisdom in relating to one another. This book is a must have for every relationship!
