Nobody from Kentucky is going to be ordering jack Daniel's as their whiskey of choice. It's from Tennessee and Kentucky is the end all be all for bourbon lover. I didn't make it all the way cause this book just isn't for me.

Best I've heard in a very very long time

Just wow seriously this was a 4thgreat story. I would call it a twilight romance 😄 not all sun4⁵4⁴4shine and rainbows but also not necessarily dark either. Therefore it's twilight perfectly in between. The performance was great seriously all narrators did a fantastic job. I found Brooke's voice smooth and easy to listen to. All of them did a great job at portraying the characters. Now for the important stuff WOW this book was great so good I have to buy it in paperback as well. J.T Geissinger is a very gifted story teller. I loved the leading ladies and their friendship. I mean you could have a whole book just on Nat and Sloan and I would still love it. I like that the women are strong, confident and capable. So refreshing to listen to. Most romances lately portray the females as weak and almost idiotic. It was nice to hear some stong women. Having listened to both stories of the series they both have great back stories that really provide the foundation for their personalities which are very different. Now for our monster in this story wow the loveable gangster. Just great also having Heard the 2nd story in this series I can say both characters are fantastic. Troy does an amazing job preforming each I never once got them confused. Definitely check it out

It's not bad. Original storyline, preformed well and good ending. What more could you ask for. While it's not as action packed or exciting as I prefer. It was perfect for a long walk and running errands.

This is a good story not my favorite in series but I have to complete the series. So far I have really enjoyed all the books. Not the biggest fan of one of the narrators. But I am from the south and have spent alot of time in Louisiana as well so I am very accustomed to the accents and love them. So I can say for sure the portrayal is not great but the books are good so I can look past it.

I like the series its easy listening

I like the series it's included in the romance package which is great. The only reason I cannot rate higher is I am not the biggest fan of the female narrator. I feel her impression of a man is way off and also doesn't go well with the male narrators portrayal.

The storyline was decent but the female narrator portrayal of the hero, was awful. So different than the male narrators that it was hard to connect the hero as the same person in each read.

I really enjoy her romantic suspense

This book was pretty good. Karen Robards is very good at putting just enough of everything. There's Drama, suspense, action and most importantly romance. her books are alit more subtle than what currently trends in the romance category. It could have a bit more to the romance but I love that the heroine in this book was very smart and competent. I felt like did not connect as well with the hero. But overall it was a very good read. The narrator was great However I do prefer the bells and whistles of newly released books with duel or a whole cast of narrators.

I couldn't even finish the book. The MC is so unaware of everything around her. Her lack of seeing the obvious is supposed to be adorable but I find it idiotic. She is tall with sexy curves but has know idea. She is supposedly very smart but misses so many obvious things that one can only assume it's not ignorance but Idiocracy. The hero is a typical billionaire learning to love. Not for me, I could not stand the oblivious lead.

Interesting mix here

So the book was good but comes off a bit dry. The impact of monumentous events in the book felt stale or flat. I like the narrators accent but the deliver of certain scenes was lacking. Overall I like this book the story was interesting but needed a little something more in delivery maybe a co narrator
