The book does an excellent job of highlighting the brilliance of Abraham Lincoln. He clearly was an early adopter of this new technology, and seemed to have mastered it to his advantage in managing the civil war. The book is written with exquisite detail to the historical facts around Lincoln‘s presidency and world events, especially the Civil War. If you are a civil war buff, this book does an excellent job of explaining the nuance that took place, with very colorful descriptions of all of the players involved.Highly recommended.

This book is a thoughtful masterpiece. Michael Richards is brilliant not only as a comedian who created the character Kramer and the world he lived in, but is also a deep philosopher. He shared the meticulous craft behind the creation of Kramer, down to the wardrobe, shoes, delivery, and stunts. This was not an easy task or something that just happened by chance . It will leave you with a far deeper appreciation to who Michael Richards is, and have you realize the “hipster-doofus” we see in Cosmo Kramer was a true work of art and stagecraft.

Malcolm puts the arrow right in the middle of the bull’s-eye. He uncovers the BS surrounding higher education, and how so many of us fall for the false narrative. Success with education is more about the person than the dorm room and shrimp cocktail served at Sunday brunch. This should be required reading for not only parents and students and educators, but administrators. The jig is up with all of these highflying condescending college administrators.

Another fantastic book by MG. The unfolding history of World War II in the air campaign was riveting to listen to. The development of the main characters was equally enjoyable. The sound effects in production of the book route standing and I believe the new standard for white audiobooks will be like in the very near future.

An absolutely amazing book. What a brilliant and complex man, but also very flawed. Next to Washington, AH is my new favorite Founding Father.

An exhaustive story, it outlines the life of Washington in exquisite detail. Chernow paints a vivid picture of this very complex man, and his Founding Father allies. Besides getting deep insight into the inner thinking of Washington's character, the reader also gets a feel for the hostilities they faced with each other, the back-stabbing relationships, and the 1700's version of "fake-news" that was rampant in the press.
