great story, wish there was more

A lot of folks are complaining about how there is an all seeing woman and how sexism seems to be a thing in this novel. The Terran culture is clearly meant to be Muslim on this world and even seems to take some minor influences from the Fremen. this all seeing woman reminds me of that too. I don't find these aspects bad in this story and it seems to be fitting for the cultures they're trying to portray in this grimdark future.

story is good, performance is great. just wish that there was more audiobooks about the Deathwatch on audible

don't know why people dislike the Son's work

This was pretty great, unsure why people dislike Frank's son's work. If anything the father would be both pleased and proud. A great story that goes away from the sexual Amazonian women of the latter series and back to the political intrigue of the great houses. My only complaint is that sometimes the narrator performance is great but other times character's blend in with narration. It's still very solid performance but the only thing I would say pulled me out on sparse occasions.

sad that we won't get a true ending for this one

I've binged the entire Dune saga written by Frank Herbert after watching the new movie. Being a fan of Warhammer I found these books easy to get into. This last one was great but you can definitely tell that there is something different between this and Heretic compared to the other four. It was a good listen and an equally good performance but it does require a special taste. Next step is to figure out if his son does his father's universe any justice

progenitor of modern science fiction

A great book, one my dad was always telling me to read. Now, after seeing the 2021 movie with him, I've decided to give it a look. I've always been a fan of science fiction and was pleased to see where most things seem to be distilled from. A great story of schemes within schemes within schemes, prophecy, and the warnings on leaders.

The audio book itself was great though there were moments where the cast is narrated by other actors rather than the narrator. The book would have benefited greatly if it had been either done purely by the narrator or sticking to the cast and narrator all the time.

Still, a fantastic story, something any fan of science fiction would look into.

An amazing set of tales for any fan of Fantasy

the Gotrek and Felix books makes me miss the old days of Warhammer Fantasy and just makes me wish for more of these books to be released. Trollslayer was an enjoyable set of misadventures of the two misfit rogues that will please any fans of both Fantasy as a genre and lovers of Warhammer

Amazing and surprisingly emotional

loved this book, love this series. It breathes a breath of fresh air into the hobby. Well preformed and an amazing and surprisingly emotional tale top listen to. I only hope that the rest of the Gotrek and Felix stories are released soon
