The story is so lovely, I enjoyed the wrap up the author provided I love Charlie’s story; however, this narrator is horrid. If I had listened to this narration for the first book I would have NEVER continued to read this series. The characters had no distinction like they did previously. There is NO SCOTTISH BURR with Bella. The ‘British’ accent is little to NON-EXISTENT!!! And Olivia’s ‘stutter’ is not even apparent. Why, oh, WHY would they have changed the narrator. Beyond disappointed by this narrator. *dramatically sighs in devastation*

Harrowing and hilarious

As always with The Land you will find our beloved Lord Mist facing impossible tasks, death defying scenarios, and impossible situations. Yet he seems to still have what it takes to face all these dilemmas with wit, gumption and lot and lots of gusto. No matter if he is in an ultimate battle of will, or praying to the banished gods for Imodium, Lord Mist will have the funniest, snarkiest, and foul mouthed come backs you have ever had the pleasure of hearing.
The narrator for The Land is absolutely THE BEST. Nick’s voices are AMAZING and he just delivers the story with ease and confidence.
Cannot wait to listen to this again.

Horrible Narrator

Seriously why did no one check how this narrator would represent each character.
The narrator makes Jace, Clary, Simon, and Isabel all sound like pot-head, surfer dudes. He miss pronounces Alec’s moms name. He gives Jem an ASIAN accent.... NO other book gives Jem an Asian accent, in-fact it says that Jem has PERFECT English and was raised in the LONDON institute.
And probably the worst offense is that this narrator pronounces the word ‘white’ wHite making the H very prominent which Would not be such a big g deal if this particular novel didn’t use that word in excess.
I love this series, one in a long long line of Shadowhunter series... this narrator KILLS me.

Love Sophie Turner

Sophie Turner does an amazing job, I wish she would have narrated the entire series. Jason Dohring, was boring, monotone, and very lack-luster. I wish this could be re-recorded with Sophie as the narrator for the entire book (preferably the series) her accent is perfect and the different character voices are amazing.

Entertaining but aimless

I really enjoyed this book; however, unlike the first 2, this one seemed aimless, there wasn’t a true plot line other than to stay alive while everything tried to kill him. Still a good story just wished there was more of a purpose. I also completely see how this was necessary to set up many more quests to come. Still worth the read. 😍

I really enjoyed the entire story. This has some great twists and turns in it. I am just irritated at the change in narrator! The first one did such a great job and this narrator just doesn’t have the same flare.

I love this narrator, he is the perfect mixture of confident, snarky and nerdy that embodies Apollo. I felt like this was too short and I wish this book was longer. Can’t wait for the next one!

Keep the same narrator throughout the stories.

I really enjoyed this book but I couldn't stand the constantly changing narrators. I don't know why this was done since they are all stories told by Bane, so this seems all together stupid to change the narrator throughout the story.

Seriously this narrator is amazing! I love how he is able to make all the voices! I love that this novel didn't start with the prophecy but you discover it as you read! I just wish this was longer.
