amazing
Revisado: 12-20-24
I adore fantasy romance and this was such a refreshing and light hearted take on the genre. very original with a unique vibe that left me feeling warm and fuzzy and hardly able to put it down. I have never actually laughed while reading a book before. the banter was both witty and hilarious and I was cackling throughout the whole series. interesting plot, fleshed out and believable characters, a slow burn romance that feels natural and not rushed/forced at all, and despite all the teasing and edging that left me begging for more in the romance department (in a good way, mind you) the overall plot was paced very well and plenty of interesting (and hilarious) things going on to distract me from my overwhelming desire for Amma and Damien to do the damn thing. I could go on but I'll just say that I read the entire series and then immediately read it a second time, which is a first for me. oh, and the narration was top notch.

Bad advice.

the most helpful podcast I have listened to for help with anxiety
Revisado: 08-18-24
I stumbled upon the anxiety guy a few days ago and have listened to several of his podcasts each day and have fallen in love with his message and advice. he does a fantastic job of explaining his ideas and educating the audience in a way that is clear, concise, and very effective. I appreciate how short each episode is and not having to try and listen to someone ramble on forever just to get to the point. not only are his insights incredibly helpful but I find that the advice/instruction he provides in order to heal from anxiety to be very simple and doable. he is very realistic and doesn't bother to sugar coat things. it's also very apparent that this man has lived through anxiety and has moved past it himself, his wisdom is invaluable and I'm so grateful to have found him.
