Hilarious, Sexy & Must Share Audiobook!! Midwesterners this one’s for YOU!

My husband and I cannot agree on whether it is the story itself or the actor reading it, that gives it the magical touch that makes this book one of our FAVORITE books ever!
We tell all of our friends about it! It you are from the Midwest or know someone from the Midwest (especially the farther north) then this story is going to speak to you! The accents and dialects are spot on! We have literally listened to this book about a dozen times and it doesn’t get boring!! Having a bad day? Listen to this and you’ll be cracking up and cringing all at the same time! I am so thrilled that I stumbled across this Audible Original!

New Cozy Murder Mystery at Pemberly; where the telly versions Jane Austen’s works were filmed.

The new version of yet another mystery surrounding Jane Austen’s Pemberly House and Mr. Darcy story immediately captivated me. This story had enough “period drama” to be interesting yet it was modern and romantic to be a ‘page-turner’. The use of a male and a female reader with English and American accents added an extra layer to this fun cozy murder mystery audiobook. The reader’s voice is a HUGE part of making an audiobook successful! Another hit from Audible Originals!

Total immersion in post-apocalyptic vampire love

It took a little bit before I was able to let my brain immerse in this production. It lends itself to an older idea of radio programming where full cast voices, foley artists and music all come together in building pictures for your brain. This is different than the normal audiobook. Stop and listen. I had a good time, maybe you will too

Love the “Cat Who…” series

Wonderful stories, full of mirth and murder. The readers voice is captivating. You find yourself listening for several hours the first time. Once you know the story, it’s also the perfect voice to turn on at night and slumber while dreaming of death. Seriously, these are fun books. The people inside are great fun with lots of characters to keep you occupied. These are quirky little books; absolutely worth your time

Pretty good

Written 30 years ago, I stumbled upon this book because it was free. Pretty good listen. It wasn’t the best, I’d give it a three or maybe a four stars out of five, mostly because of the wordiness. It lost itself on occasion but it was still a good time. I was able to lose myself for about 10 hours often on and it was very enjoyable. I recommend a read or even a listen

Cat lovers with a little murder

This series of books by Lillian Jackson Braun started in the 60s and ending in the mid 80sv it provides wonderful moments for people who aren’t really interested in getting too excited, but love a good story. The narrator’s voice Jim Guiddell) carries the listener through heartwarming stories of a gentile area full of wonderful people. Yes, they do frequently murder each other, but we will allow them there eccentricities. “The cat who,” series is actually a good set of books for sleeping, to once you know them. The narrator’s voice is great. The stories are wonderful. I’ve been hooked for 25 years
