Historia
Boston, 1770: The city is a powder keg, as tensions between would-be rebels and loyalist Tories approach a breaking point, and one man is willing to light the match that sets everything off to ensure that he has his revenge. The presence of the British regulars has made thief taking a hard business to be in, and the jobs that are available are reserved for Sephira Pryce. Ethan Kaille has to resort to taking on jobs that he would otherwise pass up, namely protecting the shops of Tories from patriot mobs.

Interesting story and Davis is a great narrator. I've listed to all four and will relisten in the future.

Alright, but not the best
Revisado: 06-01-13
What disappointed you about The Alchemist?
It was too religious. I was expecting a bit of spirituality, but not an overbearing center point of God being the center of all.
Has The Alchemist turned you off from other books in this genre?
In the genre of fiction, no. Religious books, yes.
What didn’t you like about Jeremy Irons’s performance?
Nothing really, he was alright. Reminded me of the narrator of Milo and Otis.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Disappointment. I was hoping for something inspiring about chase dreams because we all have power to make them happen; not that God has everything planned and is the reason we can.
