Unexpected Ending

What I loved about this, was it was read by a number of people, making the story come alive. For me each part of the story was an unexpected twist. Everytime I though I knew what was going to happen, something different happened. The book also gave me a bit of an education on how other cultures handle internal family matters. However, at the same time I realized that I actually knew a person who went through the same family situation. Sometimes the more we think we are different the more we actually have similarities.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
This is a great program in general because of the dialogs you would likely encounter as a traveler to a spanish speaking company. However, if you are a beginner this program will be frustrating.
Who was your favorite character and why?
The characters in the dialogs are to basic to from an opinion but they are effective in teaching the language.
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
This would be nice as a DVD- audio visual program.
Any additional comments?
Where this program fails is that you need a certain level of Spanish for it to be effective. The audio refers to vocabulary maps that were not included in our materials so there is a huge loss there. They keep playing concert music as a "right brain, left brain" engagement activity but the music is so loud that it's hard to pay attention to the dialog. I didn't like the concert music, not did I find it any more effective in learning.
