I can't finish this book. Not because it's too gorey or shocking but because it's so slow ans unoriginal. The whole book reads like a collection of short stories with a jigsaw Benjamin Button story at the center.

Starts strong, Ends in a whimper

The first half of the book is a great example of what fight club would have been like if Tyler Durden Wrote Mein Kampf. Unlike fight club though, Adjustment Day does not end when the revolution succeeds. So what we're left with is a bunch of characters you don't care about living in the satirical new america. If this was a sequel to fight club and actually had Tyler Durden as the
leader, I might have liked it a bit more.

don't know annoy the potato hack but good advice

I've personally tried the stupid potato famine thing and am only on day 3 but I'm also stupid. The rest of the book is genuinely good diet advice. As always Penn is funny and entertaining even when telling fat focks like me to eat kale. I would definitely recommend this to any other fat idiots that have trouble tying their shoes without needing to catch their breath.

Story was good, performance did not fit

I enjoyed the story though it did feel like more of a parody of punk than a tribute at times. My main issue comes with the "voice actor" his voices for females were all vally girls when they should be punks. Another "problem" was that ot took me a while to get through because every time a good song was mentioned, i had to go listen to them again. I'm still listening to Misfits on repeat after listening ro this book.

helped me through the night shift at a gas station for 3 nights in a row. With the full cast it's less like listening to an audiobook and more like hearing a play with full narration. Would definitely recommend it.
