Great story

I like S. E. Smith as an author. It took me a while to read the Dust books but I am glad I picked them up. The story is a great one. Smiths world building is great, and her story writing is great😊. If you haven’t picked this series go for it. It is not just for teens. Even adults will enjoy the story.

Murder bit us sarcastic, deadly, and always getting into tricky situations.
I love that in this book we look at the budding relationship between two AI’s. Both Art and Sec Unit are reluctant to admit they care in their “ I’ll kill everyone to protect you“ manner they reveal their true feelings.
It’s funny how the humans can tell they have ‘feelings’ for each other but they deny it. They even have a baby together. Oops, spoiler.
Murder bot never disappoints and the reader is perfect for the characters.

They strip naked, transforming into powerful animals like prehistoric wolves.

Not bad. It’s a quick story, just enough heat and adventure. I’m used to longer stories with more detail. If you are just getting into shifter stories this is a good introduction.
The reader had a pleasant voice, it lowered in a sexy tone during the intimate scenes.
Overall a 4, not perfect but acceptable.

I like the fact that the sub-character Massi got her own story…sweet. This reading the female reader was great, the male reader robotic. They read at different paces. The male reader was much slower the female read at a better clip. I liked her voice better as well.

I love the continuation

Now with Thorn ascended and in the wrong world, he is learning how to survive where he has to do for himself and isn’t as invincible as he was before.
I love the story. I have followed the story of Thorn from book one, into this new series. If you haven’t tried Nova Terra get to it! I’m a romance and sci-fi reader and I love this series!

I can’t get enough

I love this series. I have spent the past few months going through the last 10 books. What can I say, I am not a LitRPG person really, I’ve only ever read one other book that is like a gamer book, but after reading the first book I was hooked.
The cliffhangers at the end make you NEED to know what happens next so you are sucked in. It is worth it though.

I have had this series for a while now and keep coming back to read it over and over. The audio version of Dark minds is fantastic. I like that the same reader has portrayed the characters in all the books this far. Great Job! The pace is perfect, the inflection, the accents for the different worlds…well done!
If you haven’t tried this series, please pick it up and take a listen or even a read. Both ways are great.

Another Fantastic Installment

Let me just say that G. A. Aiken doesn’t write fast enough. I love everything to do with th world of her Dragon Series, and this jump off into The Sacred Earth Saga is just fabulous.
The Heretic Royal bridges the two worlds. While it’s main focus is Ainsley becoming know as a warrior in her own right, she and Gruff’s relationship, Aiken takes the time to build the relationship between the three queens Keeley, Annwyl and even bring in the dragon queen Rhiannon. There is a lot of story and character building along with the adventures, battles and deadly animal friends.
I loved the book and as usual look forward to the next installment.
