Historia
It is a simple question that is as profound as any we can ask: “Who am I?” Dr. Vikram Anthony is that rare person who believes the answer is relatively simple. I am my work; I am my skill; I am my mind. It is only when the noted surgeon faces his own mortality that the answer gets more complex. And the opportunity for a new life–a decidedly different life–opens a world of possibilities he’d never imagined.

Historia
That's Not How We Do It Here! is a business parable about a clan of meerkats who live in the Kalahari. Well-organised and efficient, the colony enjoys many years of successful growth until it suddenly comes under threat from a new form of predator and is forced to rethink its organizational structure. John Kotter uses this charming parable to explore why organizations often struggle no matter their past success and why they fall.

Historia
Spring is in the air, and lots of things are growing - including the Room 26 family! Signs of spring are very exciting to everyone at Longfellow School. Mrs. Brisbane's class has seen flowers poking out of snow and baby birds hatching, and Just-Joey even brought in tadpoles that are growing into frogs. It also means Family Fun Night is coming up, and all of the students' families are involved in making amazing activities. Humphrey helps in many ways, of course, but he can't stop wondering about his own family.

Historia
Culture is the foundation for success in any organization. It's no coincidence that the companies with the strongest cultures not only consistently top the leader boards of best places to work but also have the most engaged workforce, are the most in-demand employers, and have the strongest financial performance. The Power of Company Culture debunks the myth that a remarkable company culture is something that a business either has or hasn't and shows how any company of any size can implement and maintain a world-class culture for business success.

When Elon Musk was a kid in South Africa, he was regularly beaten by bullies. One day a group pushed him down some concrete steps and kicked him until his face was a swollen ball of flesh. He was in the hospital for a week. But the physical scars were minor compared to the emotional ones inflicted by his father, an engineer, rogue, and charismatic fantasist.

Mixed review
Revisado: 11-04-22
I wanted to live this book. I think part of my disappointment is that unlike the DaVinci Code, Lost Sumbol or Origin go some extent, Angels and Demons felt more like Digital Fortress. At times the story telling felt incredibly dull and other times too damn wordy with minute descriptions of places. This certainly feels like a stepping stone to greatness. Brown’s later works show a breadth of literary growth and I’m happy with that. This however is similar to Digital Fortress in how slow and laborious it felt at times. Great performance but the story itself feels so long winded that I was hopeful to be at the end.
