I think Simon Vance is the perfect narrator for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Even if you've seen the film(s) I'd still recommend a listen.

Narration Euphoria

Brilliant written word and amazing vocal narration! I found myself experiencing second hand embarrassment, supportive anger, and uncensored laughter throughout the work day as Steve West dictated Nick Spalding's words into my headphones. Very similar to the comedic style of Jack Whitehall. Would recommend for anyone needing to add some levity to life.

Listen to it immediately. Stop trying to guess what's happening or what's going to happen and just let the story carry you through its labyrinth. You well be more than pleased when you get to the end. The only thing that will bother you is that it is over.

Purchased this somewhat without thinking when I was trying to find a secondary book during a 2 for 1 audible sale. It really was a truly enjoyable expierences. Easy listen. Enchanting characters. And the ending.…it was a true "of course she did" moment. If your on the fence; get it.

I saw so many reviewers commenting about the 3rd person change up I was a little worried going into this third installment but I shouldn't have been. At least for me it made no impact and enjoyed it just as much as the other.

I will say though, this one will definitely make you feel poor. I never lost sight of the different worlds (high end millionaire verses blue collar me) but reading about one of the characters getting 3 months bereavement time when my corp job gives me 3 days definitely hit different and makes you say "well damn" money really does solve everything.

I've listened to this audiobook multiple times at this point. Fell in love with Jim Dale narrations through Harry Potter. Jim's voice on Erin Morgenstern's imaginative works is pure pleasure. One of my continuous recommendations to friends! Perfect.

Stick in there

If you are anything like me you will initially struggle to keep up with which character is speaking. I'm unsure if that's due to the narrator. However, it isn't through the whole book and the story is wonderful. I finished it in three days. I will likely 'read' this author again

Oh no…oh okay

I was worried I'm not going to lie. Very early on you can see the foreshadowing of hunting and I've grown attached to the 'animals'. Luckily, the conclusion sees less harm than I predicted. Wasn't trusting of the new girl, given the last new girl who wasn't what she seemed. Jess is a welcomed new mystery though. Good listen for sure. Don't get scared off.
