I've been a great fan of the unbiased podcast and have been listening to it almost on a daily basis. And this is why I was shocked in horror to listen to this episode. The entire thing is filled with false information one false fact after another that I don't even know where to begin. It seems that the research done for this episode was reading Wikipedia pages. It is very sad to see because now it puts for me in question the entire unbiased podcast. Again to clarify, this is not about conflicting opinion or biased approach but false fact after false fact every single sentence. Really, I don't know what more to say. I'm shocked!

A very long winded, wishy washi new age explanation for the way that meditation, the subconscious and the body works. Like a lot of new age teachings, there are a lot of true statements, but the overall picture is fantasmagoric and misleading.

I honestly don't want to be rude or to troll in any way. I personally find this type of books to be incredibly offensive. it seems that it was written by a boat that scan all the new age pseudo psychological cliches and put them in a row. there is not even the basic effort to try to create an engaging narrative or to sound as if the author actually have something to say. it's really sad to see that audible was recommending this book.

this book is an excellent historical recollection of Western Sex Magic. all the characters are being presented in a chronological order of their birth and their life working.

This book do not provide any explicit techniques rather a thorough understanding of the of the lives of the people that created Western Sex Magic.

it is clear and unbiased. highly recommended if you want to understand the topic

I love Wilbur and I had high expectations for this book.

In the beginning, Wilbur says that he will use Buddhism as an example of how to take a spiritual tradition all the way from Magic and literal Mythic, through rationale, pluralistic and all the way to integral. Although Wilbur does give many examples using Buddhism as a template I do not saying that after reading this book I have a clear understanding of how to adapt and transform a spiritual practice into the integral age.

Regardless of that the book goes into a very deep analysis off all the difference elements that can go wrong as we go deeper in states and higher in stages. Wilbur does that looking at first second and even third tear.

I actually think that for the first time I started to have a better understanding of what is actually happening in the third tear.

As much as I would like to recommend everyone to read this book, a large part of it is very academic and it is definitely not a light read :-)

But if you're interested in integral and want to have a much deeper understanding then what Wilbur usually gave until now regarding the transitions through states and stages and all the different pathologies that can occur and how to address them, this is definitely a great book 📚

it was quite challenging to go through this book. I love Ken Wilburys work, however I don't feel that that was one of his brilliant books.

the book however does take you through a series of meditations from an internal perspective that's suppos to help you grow up and move up through structure stages. and towards the end can gives a bunch of example where integral perspectives and practice could be applicable in daily life and even relationships.

it's very hard to write this book.
on one hand I find it fascinating, and on the other the way in which it is written is quite horrible and tedious.

ensure that the entire book is focused on describing the common narrative around sexuality and then dismantling it. the originals and evidence broth for a very strong message however they are all quite debatable, there is even another book that was written just to criticize this one "Sex at Dusk".

so as much as it is not a light read and I did not enjoy the way in which it is written, the book was very interesting. And as my profession has to do with sexuality and human behaviour I gain a lot from reading this book.

I've been falling to work of Simon several years now and I am filled with gratitude for all of the work that he's done. He's truly taking Western culture and Society to the next level of maturity and understanding.

in this book Simon tells a story after story that is straight the success and failures of leaders and companies that thought in an infinite or finite mindset. she does get a bit lengthy at time and it seems that you got the point, but just when you think that you see a deeper sense of understanding with his colorful storytelling.

I hope that's with the inspiration that Simons shares we will all transform our world to a place where we think in an infinite mindset.
