I am a huge Misha Bell fan & listen to her work via audiobooks. I enjoyed the story of Adrian & Jane. Sadly, I almost stopped listening to this audiobook—I love Erin Mallon & she did a great job in her dual narration but I felt that perhaps Lance Greenfield was not the best fit for Adrian and I found his characterisation of Jane didn’t match Erin’s representation. I felt much more warmly towards Jane when Erin spoke, and the difference was a quite distracting.

Fantastic conclusion

I binged this series—had to find all the answers from events in previous books. Wow, some things I wondered about, some things surprised me. I loved the twists & turns in this series and so happy for the characters that found love. The narration was superb, recommend for people who enjoy romantic suspense.

Second Chances

This is the third book in The Perfect Gentleman series & they need to be consumed in order. Dax and Holland missed their chance years ago. So much has happened in the interim & Dax needs Holland’s help as an NCIS investigator. My heart broke for Holland, doing the right thing at her own personal expense. I was so invested in the happiness of these characters! The plot is getting really exciting now. Loved seeing the other guys and their women participating in this story and Dax’s sister Gus is going to shake up Roman’s world. Kaleo Griffith did a great job narrating all the characters. Fantastic performance.

Fun romcom about a billionaire who is highly attuned to his chihuahua and his live-in dog trainer. Erin & Teddy kept me well entertained throughout the story.

The conclusion to this duet had a different feel to the first book. I felt like I was with this couple, struggling to make their marriage work or make an exit. Emotionally, you go through the wringer with them. I debated listening to it based on other reviews but I’m really glad I did. Gritty & painfully honest. Brilliant narration.

Slow burn heaven!

Such a great listen—Callie Dalton is a favourite and Gomez Pugh was perfect as her guarded wildlife ranger. The story of Ora, Rhodes and his son Ames, made me feel all the emotions. I perked my ears up at “Buddy” and “Angel” (he keeps forgetting my name), laughed at Ora’s descriptions of her mother-in-law and even cried a bit. Loved it.

The long game

Emery’s troubles will go away if she accepts Callum’s offer—or are they just beginning? This story had me laughing out loud at some of the banter. Tara did a great job of portraying Emery & Troy as Callum was perfection. Loved the cameo of a beloved character. I hope this world is expanding, would love to see more of all these characters in the next books.

High school history

Another wonderful Hyman sister romcom! This story finds pierced & tatted Honey Hyman in trouble because of her love of people, coupons, and IT. Honey has a past with Ferguson, her new employer by blackmail. Gunther’s kindness to Honey’s crazy won me over. Favourite scene? The wedding, showcasing all the characters I love. Erin Mallon did her usual great job, would have loved to have heard more of Joe Arden.
