Easy listen, coming of age book
Revisado: 09-22-21
Ideal for young, idealistic readers. Great concept on changing the world with a sci-fi twist. Simple casual dialogue completes this book characters are quickly defined as good or evil or neutral. My dislikes would be very simplistic world concepts and solutions leaning on Syfy mystical technology quite a bit.

The dialog was so simplistic “he said”. Yet so much of it. Their was one redeeming character you Wheeled Southern Saying to a LOL LEVEL. However it was a long stretch between them.

Breaks from the Series
Revisado: 03-26-18
Is there anything you would change about this book?
I have listened to every book I could get in this series. Really enjoyed them.
This one was a little too much drama overcoming the impossible, time after time. .
What could Jamie McFarlane have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Personally the it has to many Peaks and valleys over the top drama against impossible odds
What about Mikael Naramore’s performance did you like?
The performance is first rate, best of the best..
Could you see Corsair Menace being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?
Earlier books would be much better.

Historia
If Nick James is right, the Tipperary solar system is about to become the busiest trading hub in the galaxy. To sweeten the pot, the cloud-city of Lèger Nuage is offering free warehouse space to qualified traders. Of course, nothing's as simple as it seems. Just like Earth's Old West, the Tipperary system is as full of promise as it is Buccaneers who are happy to prey on the weak. No one expects it to be easy, but deceit, piracy, and murder kindle the pioneering spirit in each of them.

Historia
Imagine a ship the size of a planet. It has an atmosphere of methane, but there is no water. Mysterious and dark, it sails through a gateway, leaving a path open to the most implacable enemies that mankind and the aliens of the Milky Way Galaxy have ever face. Genetically tailored, symbiotic body armor protects the human commandos that are to be dropped on the metallic surface. A trooper in his armor, with surgically enhanced, neuro-fiber speed, is the deadliest grunt in the universe.

Tuff guy runs the space troopers
Revisado: 03-20-16
The narrator is very talented, easy to listen to. Plot drags you through every tuff guy move and his limited thoughts. Hard to engage with the main character as he has little to no empathy.
