I'm more than certain I'm not saying anything novel or original here, but more than a few times this novel either brought me to tears or made me laugh out loud. This is a must read for absolutely anyone with even half a mind to improve their lives and to live it to their fullest potential.

Very enlightening material

I love any book that lends itself to truthful political discourse and discussion and was very surprised and happy to find this piece on audible. Truly a must read for any well intentioned American, the performance was very good, well delivered, and palatable. I am definitely recommending this to friends and family.

Heart Wrenching

An excellent example of the dangers of communism, the way it extracts all hope from its unwilling adherents, and why indeed it is important to oppose it in any way possible. Exciting, tear jerking, truly a masterfully composed piece.

I cried many times. This book is a truly powerful message against communism, totalitarianism, and the brutal regime of North Korea. A must read for anyone who wants to know more about the Hermit Kingdom and the cruel practices of a communist regime, and more importantly how difficult it is to escape its clutches.

Highly anecdotal right-wing hit piece rife with bold psychological, sociological and political claims. This author is speaking from a strong point of bias that I find difficult to accept or digest from an intellectual standpoint.

excellent overall performance by the narrator, The story is engaging though difficult to follow at times as far as it's description of events however it is thought provoking and vivacious to be sure.

Excellent oration of a pretty decent narrative.

The book itself is a bit dated and materially non-descriptive. The author leaves you to imagine the world that Guy is living in with some intricate and interesting detail but not quite enough to really draw you in. Aside from that I thought it was a great read. Tim Robbins did an excellent job with this piece.

Massive waste of time the first two chapters were literally an elongated sales pitch and a glossary view of leadership needed in entrepreneurship... don't bother. Way better tools out there for learning this.

Narrator was a little flat. Tough read hard to really get through it. Some of the information was helpful and relevant to me though I wonder how well researched the sources for the material really are. I can't help but feel that the overall tone of the story itself was meant for women or less masculine males which made it difficult for me to identify with and made me question whether this would yield legitimate life hacks for myself.
