Historia
For over a decade, philosopher and energy expert Alex Epstein has predicted that any negative impacts of fossil fuel use on our climate will be outweighed by the unique benefits of fossil fuels to human flourishing--including their unrivaled ability to provide low-cost, reliable energy to billions of people around the world, especially the world’s poorest people. And contrary to what we hear from media “experts” about today’s “renewable revolution” and “climate emergency,” reality has proven Epstein right.

Worthy of your time
Revisado: 01-27-23
After having been a 70s radical and early adopter of fixing the world only to grow up via a good woman, I have seen 50 years of failed catastrophic predictions by my former radicals (now no longer radicals, but now the establishment).
I knew in my heart all this climate stuff was just more of the same, but after listening to this book I understand why it is.

Not your typical audiobook.
Left at times wondering how story tracked real story.

Historia
People starting out in business tend to seek step-by-step formulas or specific rules, but in reality there are no magic bullets. Rather, says veteran entrepreneur Norm Brodsky, there's a mentality that helps street-smart people solve problems and pursue opportunities as they arise. He calls it "the knack" and it has made all the difference to the eight successful start-ups of his career.

'Round and 'Round in the Rabbit Hole
Revisado: 10-31-10
You may just be into the New Age explanation of what works and this might just be the book that you think that will clarify the nasty world of business. You might be right if your business is part of the "consciousness" of this new vapid way of creating value in business. Sure the systems work, but the self-realization aspect of emyth is so much..so much...well, New Age. I've been down that road for the last 25 years and it sounds good, you want it to be so, but in the end it is not the answer unless you too - game the system.
I couldn't make it through the audio. I tried it simply as an exercise in how people of that "consciousness" put it together, but in the end it made me so agitated that my wife said I should stop and get something productive.
There are plenty of great reads out there with basic real world advice that will give you real tools. Unless you want to learn more on how to game the system to take in others, I would avoid this one.
