Hard to finish Listening Too- I couldn't
Revisado: 09-23-19
The beginning was great, but at time it did challenge me. There was a few concepts that really challenged me. The middle does go over the how to get balanced and it goes over some yoga techniques, however I don't do yoga so her explaining the downward dog and how to perform this maneuver get boring. For expert or intermediate level yoga enthusiast this may be a great book. The biggest take away was the very beginning. This book came with a pdf, PDF was helpful.

Insightful and Step By Step Guide
Revisado: 07-19-19
I wish there was some supporting material to help with reminders on how to get organized so I don't have to re-listen to the book over an over again. It is pretty long so I did struggle to keep up. It requires you to take action as you listen along so I am more than likely going to have to re listen when I am starting to implement the principles of this book. It is not material that you can reference easily as it is a step by step guide with many insights on how to organize your office and structure a systems to increase your productivity. These are suggestion that the author guarantee will get you results, but it focuses mainly on organization and creation of systems to keep focus and on track. I would recommend the hard copy so you can make notes and mark things you would like to refer to when you are ready. Definitely a weekend project or 1 week vacation time, if you are serious. Recommend for people that need to de clutter their lives to have time for the things they really want to spend time doing.

A Re-Write of the Original, Not Origianl Text
Revisado: 07-19-19
I am pretty sure this is a re-write of the original. There is still value in this and it may be more insightful. I am bias- but this man was a genius and a true spiritual teacher. It is good to see him through this transformation he undertook. While the principles are not his he executes them completely in a peaceful and easy way for us to understand. I can not say how grateful I am to have found Dr. Dryers books he really fulfilled his purpose and help enlighten people. It all started with this book. People often say he took credit for others works when that has never been the case. He simple deliver the world know principles to his audience in a way that he felt would help others. Good listen... Quick listen. Must re-listen to remind ourselves of the value advise and principle in this book.

There is hope, if you still have time
Revisado: 07-19-19
The book was very motivational and makes you want to put in some time into those hobbies you thought you were not good at. This could be a really good book for the adolescent going through a hard time in their sport or chosen activity. The bppl challenges the idea of natural born talent and gives you the many examples of why talent is not born with rather it is acquire through hard work and most importantly PRACTICE. I recommend as this was a quick read. I enjoyed the third person narratives and story line, it felt like I was watching an episode of history channel with vivid imagery and interviews. Love the execution really does transport you.

Inspirational, Brave, Truthfull
Revisado: 04-12-19
Lots of wisdom and take away. The fact the the author narrates this books adds so much more conviction on what is being said. I had a few laughs and smiles but most of all I had a lot of validation for a lot of the life questions I am constantly asking myself. Its a long audio book but i was able to finish it and did not struggle to do so. It is cleverly executed. I do recommend this book as a must read and this perhaps is one of the best books out there.

Its OKAY not super Life Changing per say
Revisado: 03-15-19
If you want a history of how professionals have come to understand habits this book is for you. It creates a good way to understand what habits are and how they have been studied. It doesn't tell you how to change your habits its more of a history of how we have come to understand habits. Its not life changing. It was hard to finish the book toward the end but I push through. The only take away is that habits are important to pay attention to due to the influence in your life and that habits good and bad can be dangerous for everyone involved around you. Doesn't tell you how break the habit loop just give you examples of it and how professional came to identify the habit loop ects... Appendix does provide some steps to analyze your habits so you can try to shape your habits. Place to start, manual on the next step. "Time and effort"
