I started to watch this series on Netflix and stopped because it was based of a book. After purchasing the audible version and listening to the first chapter, I knew I was going to prefer the book. I did watch the first two episodes which did not match with the book (like usual).

This is action packed, edge of your seat thriller. You don't know what will happen next. A great book for anyone.

Narrator

The story is fun. I just cannot stand the pausing in the narrators speech. The sound of her voice is pleasing enough but it is a if she has a stutter. Or possibly she pauses the recording after each punctuation. IDK.

YA 16 and under

This is another YA UF that lacks depth. I'm sure this novel would be great for a reader that is under the age of 16.

Great story and a side of propaganda.

This is a great story, if you can get past the authors attempt at propaganda. I had to deduct a star for the characterization of Del and pushing the LGBT philosophies. I also dislike the insinuation that Bronwyn, being a college professor, she is more understanding and knowledgeable about the use of proper pronouns with regards to transgender. Seriously, who cares if Del is a miss or Mr?

So Slow

I was expecting more intrigue, more excitement, yet I got nothing. The narrator is talented enough to keep me from losing interest.

Great series

This series was clean and well thought out. I enjoyed the the characters with their twists and turns throughout each novel. I will read Lily’s and Rangers stories next.

If you enjoy romantic fantasy, this is a good choice. The world is very different and will keep you interested. I would not consider it my favorite story but it is somewhere in the middle.

Not my favorite

This is not my favorite story in the series. Saying that, doesn't mean I didn't like the characters. I knew from the start that Izzy didn't have a chance (predictable). She was a beautiful character but not Hunters soul mate nor he hers. IDK why people have negative opinions on Hunters character, knowing that Izzy and Hunter were from the start honest about where their hearts lay. they both needed someone to fill a void in their broken hearts. Yes, they fell in love with one another but in truth their whole hearts lay with someone else. I am disappointed with how predictable this book is. The narrators did a good job. It's more aggravating that all the issues stem from a lack of communication between the characters that really lowers the stars in this series. I find that when I start forwarding/shipping ahead the story is not so good.
