A fitting ending to an Arc

This is one of my favorites cultivation series ever. Well developed characters with dept, very well thought through cultivation system, and deep understanding of political machinations and dynamics.

The author did very well, and the narrator was 10/10. Can't wait for the next series.

Good book, but long winded author

The story was interesting and engaging with promise, it would have had 5 stars if the author was not overexplaing things. He regularly explained his explanations over and over so much that even the action parts get over explained till they drag and bore you.

I kept on rolling my eyes thinking "get on with it men" the story could have been told in 10hrs without the junk and multiple point of view.

The author should trust the intelligence of his readers

Very immature MC , Poor character behavioural dev

The plotline of the book was very promising and interesting, only issue was with the MC. The author created an MC who behaves unnaturally . example who after being betrayed and captured immediately starts promising protection to strangers whom he just met. The relationship with the Dragon is also very unreal. He makes all the decisions and she just follows... even though she is far older and stronger. It's not a book for very smart people. I kept hoping it will get better as I continued reading ... but it only became worse. Author needs some behavioural lessons to build realistic characters. MC in an appocalyptic world should not be so soft whiny. The book also has a lot of unnecessary writing especially towards the end, it became so boring that I started forwarding the book ... and missed nothing.

Disappointing .. forced myself to finish the book

I had anticipated this book because I'm a fan of Brandon and have been following all his books, but I must say that this book is very disappointing, the characters became very annoying and immature, though there were action sections, it was not satisfying. I really think the story could have been told in less than 10 hrs.
