I love the works of C.S.Lewis.

Yes, I do love C.S.Lewis and have been inspired and touched by his creative genius or many years. However, the production of this story made The Screwtape Letters hard to listen to. The Narrator's voice was flat and uninvolved with C.S.Lewis' deep and meaningful words. I had hoped it would be much better than this. Also the British accent was a bit hard to hear.

I loved these stories. Short stories of everyday people's lives and the struggles and hurts they go through and how God's love touches them and brings healing and love.
I may re-listen to these in the future - they were just that good!

I wouldn't have gotten this if I knew it was a young person's fable.
I had trouble understanding some of the British accents spoken by the narrator and others.
The story is about a little girl in a girl's boarding school and the special thing that happened when she found something magical in an old sardine can.

Inspiring story that will touch your heart.

This is one of those stories that I can see myself reading/listening to again and again. William Paul Young tells this story magnificently through the moments of a father's despair and guilt. I don't want to say much more in fear of giving away what happens. I recommend it whole heartedly.

I listened from beginning to end but got lost during a few places. This is a wild story (aren't Paul Bowles' stories a little like that?)
The characters are independent minded, free thinking, impetus people. They make many decisions that get them in trouble and somehow they get out again.

This is a Holocaust story and a love story. I was surprised by the things that I learned such as the fact that the Nazi's were on an English island off the coast of mainland England. If you like WW2 stories told with courage, bravery, love, suspense and family struggles, this one's for you.

I loved this story from beginning to end. In the last chapters you see miracles occurring by God's loving hand.
I was actually sad to finish the story. I wanted even more to happen to Chris Fabry's characters.
I now need to see the movie and see how it was all done on the big screen.

In the beginning of this story I wasn't quite sure what the heck was going on but my daughter said she loved this story so I persisted. It turned out to be wonderful and inspiring story with some very solid life inspiring messages wrapped into the story line. I would recommend it. Only four hours long and packed with good stuff.

A short and sweet story.

I saw that Toby Jones was one of the narrators and I loved him in "The Detectorists". Turns out that this is a story worth being
inspired by. Many good, solid life messages woven into this story. You'll laugh, cry, be encouraged and inspired by the characters.
