Historia
For Milo, everything’s a bore. When a tollbooth mysteriously appears in his room, he drives through only because he’s got nothing better to do. But on the other side, things seem different. Milo visits the Island of Conclusions (you get there by jumping), learns about time from a ticking watchdog named Tock, and even embarks on a quest to rescue Rhyme and Reason. Somewhere along the way, Milo realizes something astonishing. Life is far from dull. In fact, it’s exciting beyond his wildest dreams.

Regardless of preference of presentation; these interviews remind me/us stark reduction in reporting with echoes of objective open exchange. I learned a lot & thank those involved in crafting these in audio format.

In a time of social and ecological crisis, what can we as individuals do to make the world a better place? This inspirational and thought-provoking book serves as an empowering antidote to the cynicism, frustration, paralysis, and overwhelm so many of us are feeling, replacing it with a grounding reminder of what’s true: we are all connected, and our small, personal choices bear unsuspected transformational power.

Listening to Martín’s own voice reading knocks the ball outta the park!!! I’ll be listening over & over plus recommend to everyone I know.
Reading print out loud & listening audiobook goes into nooks & cranny’s of life’s realities sometimes subtly, often with directness impossibly felt~ wherever listener/reader is inside & outside… his teachings find their mark & knock on the door of our humanity, our resistance/insistence to love, as well as inviting our remembrance for growing devotion into our depth of intelligence where we each face the magnificent choice/chance for our courage to employ our pride for the sake of our kids having places to laugh & sing! May we find our courage & try.
May we know by listening/reading this gift, we have been truly blessed with seeds of hope we can help grow & find ourselves growing too.
Thank you for feeding me/us, & thank you for eating~ especially blessings on your family, work, school & unknown to me aspects also fed by blessings…

Historia
“This is a story about an idea that I have,” Americana legend and self-proclaimed “recovering folk singer” Steve Earle states early in his enthralling Words + Music performance. “This job of mine becomes an artform spontaneously in 1965 - when Bob Dylan wants to be John Lennon, and John Lennon wants to be Bob Dylan, whether either one of them would admit it or not - and in that moment, rock and roll becomes art."

Thanks Steve,
Ya continue putting stories in my heart, mind, soul & life while I drive & mombo this life daily makin more sense than dollars. I told ya once ya inspire me to sing & try especially when it’s too hard & somewhere a magic door opens a path I woulda missed if I’d kept listening to my pain keepin it inside... So, fist of Oreos & can of Cola after your show in NoHo MA Mebbe 20 years back on my birthday I found myself backstage with the ligit folks & I thanked you for your courage to press record & share your work which became medicine when my sister said I’d really like this new album & we listened... we folk need stories & music & people to share their truth~ & it helps us heal.
I recommend this recording full on! Steve shows what’s motivated & continues to interest that regular person inside whose gotta go play & shares his brilliant gift so humbly it feels possible to walk our talk too. Describing historical context of folk music in this nation & world influence while walking readers through his own journey to confluences of places & people to the eruption of rock & roll as art makes sense. For what it’s worth, I’m honored to be in your audience again despite these times experiencing Covid & social distancing. Listening to you read this book helps.
I bless your hands
