Great! Narration is superb!

Narration is really top notched, so easy to follow and understand! I’ve tried to listen to the same novels by other narrators but couldn’t really get them, would loose a track on what’s going on. But this narrator uses proper intonations and emphasis, making it easy to follow and understand! (I’m a non-native speaker with dyslexia, so it means a lot). It’s sad to see other people complaining about his French: are those the same people who refuses to brush up their English accent and fix pronunciation mistakes because their foreign accent is “cute and part of their identity”? Now the tables have turned, and if you want a book in proper French, listen it in French then. For an English book his French is superb (btw there are just like 0.5% French words of the overall book). Also, navigating wasn’t really hard for me, especially through the novels. So, this book is worth much more than $1. I hope there would be more collections of this kind. Would love to buy a similar collection of Miss Marple mysteries. Excuse my grammar, but I hope my review would be helpful.

Great mystery! Perfect narration!

I love the voice of this narrator, he’s definitely the best for Agatha Christie books, I hope he gets to narrate more books of her!
As to the novel itself, it was great as always. Really enjoyed the plot twist!

Another great book by Agatha Christie! And the narrator did such a great job! Both his English and French were superb, I hope he gets to narrate more books by Agatha Christie! I’m not a native speaker of English with dyslexia, so finding the narrator whom I can really understand and enjoy listening to is so rare! Thank you!!

Amazing cours

I finished this course in 1 week! It was so interesting for me, and easy to listen and understand. I’m a non-native English speaker with dyslexia, so it means a lot! Professor Brier is a great lecturer with a pleasant voice! I learnt so much about Ancient Egypt! Thank you for this course ❤️

Only suitable for GRE. Not for non-native speakers

The free sample sounded great and tricked me into buying. But it turned out to be a great disappointment, I find the course description not clear enough. I’m a huge fan of Word Smart books by Princeton review and I thought the words would be similar in this course. But it turned out to be words of some tremendous level of difficulty, they’re only useful for academic environment.
I think, I can only use them if I ever decide to pass GRE test. Or if I want to ridicule myself by saying words natives won’t understand.
I tested those words on my American boyfriend (yes, he went to college!), but he said that he never ever heard them!
All non-native speakers remember that awful feeling when they speak and they are not understood, I don’t want to experience it again.
I wish I could return this title…
