Actionable Advice For Every Entrepreneur
Revisado: 11-25-24
I originally purchased Empire Builder, hoping to be inspired about what could one day be possible for my company. Instead, I got actionable advice in chapter one that I started using the same day. Adam Coffey’s writing style is conversational and to the point. He doesn’t overwhelm with fluff or anecdotes. Before I finished Empire Builder, I met with my entire team to break down our unit-level economics, as discussed in the book. Within a couple of hours, we were on an entirely new track with more clarity than ever before, and I’m still buzzing over it weeks later. It unlocked many of the roadblocks I had regarding scale and helped us paint a crystal clear picture of how to get to where we want to be. This book is a must-read for anyone running a business. No matter how much you already know, you will be surprised at how much you learn.

This was a nice focused extension of The Talent Code, which I reference almost daily. This book is worth revisiting regularly to stay fresh and focused.
